Both versions of the song are incredible. Papa Roaches version seems to portrait the adolescent anger while Ronnie's rendition seems to portrait the depression but Ronnie's rendition highlights the depth of the lyrics giving it so much more impact and emotion 😢

Fantastic breakdown down! The original is about the anger and just letting that feeling out and this is just how he emotes that feeling of desperation but it does have a since of hope and rebuilding from feeling that despair! 👏Let’s give Jacoby his due, he wrote this powerful song and reacted millions and now with Ronnie’s version it will react millions more! honestly i really didn't think of the lyrics i'm 51 years old was there when it came out thought is was a fun song in a way. With this new generation Ronny hit home at my age i now see what it was supposed to mean. I love Ronny

I love the way the strings were presented! The end did confuse me. The buildings being put back together but he was still screaming & I couldn’t understand his words. It was a song that does need to be heard! 💜💜💜
