I have often said Chris can make those guitar strings cry even when he isn't singing. His is talent in the raw, no need for electronic enhancement flashing light and fireworks.
And this young people is what they call talent. He can sing anything, any genre, emotional, is a musician, songwriter can play a mean guitar and his voice is amazing. He's a national treasure.

Not many can take a 3.5 minute song and make you feel like you are in it...Chris is a bad bad man. Incredible writing, the best voice, and the ability to drive the story of the song into you like no one else. I would have to imagine anyone that would follow Chris Stapleton is going to feel inferior, because they probably are.
This is now my favorite songs of Chris Stapleton’s! I have all of his songs on my iTunes list except for his new album. There is not a song that I’ve heard him sing, that I don’t like. HE’S THE MAN!!!
This is fantastic. I know part of Country music fans says he's to bluesy. I think he is fantastic. Much better than Country rappers. When Conway Twitty first came out people said he wasn't Country enough. Conway became legend. So will Chris
I’ve watched mini reactors on RU-vid ask what genre is Chris Stapleton. It’s my opinion that Chris Stapleton is in his own genre and I call it the “Chris Stapleton” genre. Chris has been blessed with what I’m calling a trifecta. He’s got it under wraps with the guitar, songwriting and then singing. With as good of a marriage as he has, I doubt very seriously he’s experienced all of these songs. I think he’s been blessed with apathy and is able to see what people are going through. Every time I hear another song from him, it just convinces me that this guy has been blessed!
You are not alone, Harri -- LOTS of us are affected by Chris and his amazing vocal ability. I swear, he is the bluesiest country singer I've ever heard of.
