Wow! Flux Glaze from Scratch

Flux increases fluidity of a material and is a key ingredient in many glazes. However there are also special flux glazes you can add on to a normal glaze to also create more movement. Here I try ‪@OldForgeCreations‬ FirstFive+ Flux glaze (glazy.org/recipes/253742) on cobalt and titanium glazes and get some cool results!

I bet you would love the blue float glazes on Glazy. They are my favorite reactive glazes that don’t need layering.

I need to go back and try some of the floating glazes again. one of the things I want to try with these are colors besides white and blue - I think I should be able to use any two colorants? But I'll need to test and see.

Can you tell us your blue glaze recipe is? It looks white and mine is a red glaze that fires blue. Wonder what your ingredients are!

This one is actually a bit of a mix so I'm not sure I can exactly replicate it. It's derived from this one but has the wrong frit and some extra TiO2: glazy.org/recipes/150980
