Hi Gareth I don’t comment too much on RU-vid channels but I do watch almost lol all your videos and you are for me one of the few RU-vidrs who are so down to earth so genuine and have created a wonderful community . Your just a great fantastic guy and never stop doing what your doing because it’s just wonderful . God bless you and your family ❤👍👍👍🙏
Now here's a funny thing,as Max Miller used to say😮 The wife and I,will also be away for a few days. Oft to Norwich,to see my son and his chums graduate from University 😊😊😊The benefits of going away, with the car.Use the camp site as a base,be able to nip home&pick up the last minute things you forgot? Em like a selfie stick😅(things I've left on the hall table) Or pootle about.❤to you and yours, enjoy the rest ( family holiday and rest 'em not sure you can!!😢)Cheers 🥂
My parents had caravans when I was a child and I hated them - gas mantle lights, no electricity, fill the bucket with water for cooking from a kind of standpipe thing, empty the waste bucket down a stinky communal drain, toilet and shower block (cold showers) at the other end of the site, and enough creepy-crawlies to stock a small zoo! Things have definitely improved since then, though. That caravan looks like a posh flat and is lovely. I hope you and the family have a great time.
Always went on Caravan Holidays when the kids were small. Really good memories. Looks like a lovely caravan-a bit different from the no frills basic caravans we used to stay in!
Doesn't look like a bad little place at all, good sized van and tidy enough. Nice little view to boot. I hope you get a nice bit of sunshine to go with it 🙂.
Worked for Haven 10 years ago as a 20 year old in the entertainment, and after 10 years, I’m looking to audition for 2024, make sure your girls see Rory and his friends
I stayed in a caravan like that in 2019 and the previous two years but decided to upgrade for the last one. Booked outside school holidays too and found it cheaper and very peaceful. Enjoy 😉
Hey Gareth, I am sure me and my family have stayed in the same caravan earlier in the year. If you like music there are two speakers built into the ceiling. It should come up as Lithe Audio BT in the Bluetooth menu, it’s decent sound too. Have a great break. Best Butchers is Higginsons at Grange. To the side of the butchers they do hot food to take away too.
Looks a really nice place Gareth and its literally right on your doorstep. You don't really want to be driving all the way down to Great Yarmouth and back because by the time you get home you'll be needing to book another holiday to get over the stress of it all!!
Looks really nice and 2 or three nights makes for a nice break quality is great and it does make a difference when things are clean and spotless when you arrive .Enjoy time with your family you deserve it ! By the way we are hitting 46 oC here again and no sign of letting up and the heat goes on so I would rather be where you are .
Looks absolutely beautiful , love the Lake view , I'd happily sit there with a nice whiskey and coke or cocktail , very nice , and living room is lovely 😊 enjoy your stay
I stayed in this very caravan in April with my hubby and children! As I watched it thought this looked familiar… and saw the number and checked our booking and it was the same one. We always go on the lake but we always could go in term time and pay less of a premium unfortunately now we have to go in school holidays and get ripped off! However try the butchers at grange higginsons of grange and round the corner they have a hot counter, try the pie… amazing!!! there is a chippy as well at the top of the road that’s worth a try! Enjoy your family time!
I remember when caravans were the size of a toilet cubicle. Squeezing round to sit at a table the size of a tea tray. Banging elbows. Being privvy to everything everybody was doing. In the next caravan there always seemed to be a toddler who had just learned to run. Bang bang bang bang......bang bang bang. We nicknamed him the Midnight Runner.
Yes, the tiny tables! They converted into beds if I remember rightly. Pull the table top down, swivel it round, put the cushions from one of the couches and the seats on it, and it was a double bed. The other couches were the single beds. Fun times! 😀
My parents used to take as south est, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset etc. My Grandparents took us to Blackpool on a couple of occasions. Fond memories for sure, took my kids on a few trips also. All the best, you and your family have a good trip.
Enjoy buddy. Everything looks so perfect except one thing. You still have to video and edit etc. not much of a break for you! I missed you yesterday so I for one am glad of your hard work and patient family. 👍
Hi Gareth from Spain where it is 36°. Glad to see that you are facing up to family trials and tribulations and not skiving off in the ktchen. At least it doesn't look as though you've been ripped off this time which makes a change. Keep cool. Love and comisserations to the missus and the kids.
Oh memories had a holidays many years ago when my children were little in Flookburgh, it was lovely area , they loved the model village in Flookburgh. Caravan looks lovely and what a view ....jealous lol. Enjoy your family holiday x
I love caravan holidays. The caravan is lovely. So well laid out. Lots of comfortable looking chairs. The kitchen area looks great. Everything looks clean and sparkling. Great view and seating area. Just what you need at the end of the day with a few drinks. Enjoy your break with your family! And I’ll catch you on the next one. Lol❤
Amazing place by the looks of it. We're thinking of where to go next year so this could be an option :) Thank you for showing us around and enjoy your stay!
Looks well nice we always go on van holidays in fact we have seen most of the country on caravan holidays. Hope you have a lovely few days away. All the best.
Hi Gaz, right up our street we are watching this as we are away in our caravan very similar caravan and love it, great content, now get the BBQ on and show the viewers what on the menu lol, great content you and your family enjoy the break and thanks for showing us your holiday break 👍👍
That looks fantastic! Need to treat my wife to a visit sometime. Whilst in a caravan, what we enjoy most of all is a good old thunderstorm, louder the better!
Lovely, enjoy! We got back two weeks ago from Lakeside and had a platinum lodge just like yours. We've booked to go again next year. ENjoy the typical entertainment and a few beers =)
Looks nice. If you and the family want say half a day walking/adventure for the girls then suggest a walk up Humprey Head gorgeous views all around think you will be able to see your caravan and with a bit of luck a peregrine falcon using the thermals by the edge Lots of places for a nice picnic
Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday Gareth. Love the lakeside view. You need to try Tattershall Lakes … its a lovely site and plenty of activities for you, and your good lady and the children ❤
Definitely a 'Step Up' from the well worn accommodation you had in france and spain. And only half an hour away keeps the travelling costs to a bare minimum. Very nice indeed Gareth. Great choice! I hope you and family have a wonderful time away. Cheers 👍😀
Lovely, enjoy! We got back two weeks ago from Lakeside (Chichester) and had a platinum lodge just like yours. We've booked to go again next year. Enjoy the typical entertainment and a few beers =)
Ehvups gaz!!? Hope you’re spot on, thanks for bringing us along on your adventure, 👍 The veranda area looks decent enough to be sat out here with a few beers on an evening, Live at the lakeside, 😁 enjoy your family time, 😁👍
One of our favorite Haven sites. Never had a caravan with a hall but not enough comfy seating for a 6 berth. Enjoy the walk by the sea edge, so peaceful. Enjoy.
@@BaldFoodieGuy Get yourself to the local baker and grab a big french stick or something similar and load it up with Bacon, Eggs ect, can't go wrong with that mate 👍👍👍
@@BaldFoodieGuy That is the only problem on those sites mate, it's probably a Nisa or similar, we tend to go to the nearest aldi to stock up, anyway relax mate. me and the wife love your content, plain simple down to earth, keep it up, looking forward to the next one, take care and enjoy👍👍👍
Looks great and a nice view, just watch out for the mossies around dusk, being so close to the fresh water pool. They will be doing a food review on you lol. 😂🤣
I've stayed at Lakeland Park several times it's a fantastic park with good bars and great entertainment, Gareth, you could always do a food review on Cartmel's famous sticky toffee pudding as the factory is just down the road, Happy Days!!!
Lovely gaz,the caravans we stayed in as kids wernt that posh lol..me and my hubby have booked a week in september in a caravan, first time in 30 years, hope mines as nice as yours😊
We stayed in a caravan in Lossiemouth Moray Firth Scotland in June , payed under £200 for a week. Just the two of us and our 19 year old Siberian Husky Shaer. The weather to be honest was to hot. It was 30 degrees " In the Highlands of Scotland !!" barmy isn't it. Watched the Typhoons take off from across the road at RAF Lossiemouth. Noisy but enjoyable. Could get down to beach behind caravan . Good holiday.
We've stayed in that haven before, there's a good fish and chip shop in flookburgh, and there used to be the cartmel sticky toffee pudding factory on the approach road with a shop onsite
Nice switch up, you don't have to be in the kitchen all the time. I have been to a Haven site many years ago (early 80's) with my sis and parents and think we might of either had a huge family tent or a trailer tent. I can't remember if it was down in Cornwall or on the east somewhere near Filey/Mablethorpe. Where you're staying looks very nice and the view is cool too, nice reflections on the pond and relaxing. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your mini vacation 😀🙌
Hey Gareth its your channel do what you want to do, Its all good, I'm all for the caravan holidays, your educating us pal, I like the caravan and location, cheers...
