Omg Stuart Williams I had no idea that was you with Billy at spare time lanes in Arlington that sold me the idol Thursday. Wow I wish I woulda know I have soo many questions
Beeeeeeeef 💪🏾💪🏾👀🍿 question when bowling league and bowling a part of the lane by yourself (like in the video) how often are you actually moving and how much? I tend not to move until I miss or get away with a hit 🤦🏾
Stu, I tend to have balls that are 4.5" or less pin to PAP. I wouldn't think to try something 5 5/8... I'm like upper 300's rev rate, about 19 mph off my hand (probably read 16.5 mph on the console)...I understand you're trying to not have stuff overreact on sport, but what kind of bowlers generally benefit from having Pin to PAP that far apart?
Since you said that wouldn't be the layout you would choose to play straighter, would you change it to be a shorter pin to pap or a longer pin buffer...or both?
Gives me more flexibility with my hand. I find the hardest thing to combat is balls burning up, if weaker pin, can use speed to make them hook more or less
Isn’t the PBA rule just based on a manufacturing date? Why not keep manufacturing the original Idol then? The Phaze 2 released in 2016 and is still produced today.
The Idol was discontinued long before the PBA rule that changed how long a ball can be used were made. The new rule may give manufacturers more incentive to keep balls around that are popular with touring players, but I doubt they'll keep a ball in production if it isn't selling.
Stu I LOVE you but the remark about "in purpose seems a bit far fetched MAYBE he was maybe you hand encountered him and he was rude or off putting. But us tradies have deadlines and time is money. He more realistically just doesn't give a shizz more than being "cheeky" and being loud on purpose. Like I said idk I wasn't there also maybe YOU were joking and being cheeky. Anyway love y'all great bowling. Just be easy on the trades men his knees probably hurt 😂
