Simon may be caked up, but a fat dumpy can't fix existential sadness. Follow me: / le_unorthodox Second channel: / @zazawaybright #adventuretime #fionnaandcake #cartoonnetwork #nostalgia #funny
Oh Simon, Simon, Simon... Despite still possessing the cheeks he had when he was Ice King, he just can't be happy like Ice King could. Like at least when Ice King was sad he could forget about it by doing something that made him happy, Simon got nothing, and no-one. So sad man. @@multiverse_media2023Fr. I get that he wants to help Fionna and Cake, but this is not worth it. After everything he’s gone through in the past. We can’t risk seeing him take that crown again and become Ice King. For the love of God, Simon, think twice about this! HAVE MERCY!😥😣🙏
The word "lost" is so appropriate, but it somehow feels far too weak to describe what happened. She didn't die, she was merged with something terrifying and lost her human consciousness.
@@bombas_unitas All internet connection, lost. All games, lost. Electricity? Eventually lost. RWBY show? Lost. Access to easy food? Lost. Access to plumbing? Lost. Lawless murder wasteland? Yes. Looters? Yes.
I hate how some characters basically tell Simon that he was better when he was Ice King, even he is believing that even tho he clearly was suffering from being ice king. Like imagine people saying to you that you were cooler when you were mentally ill and struggling.
I love how the reaction to Simon in this episode from everyone can be condensed to “I feel so bad for him, he’s gone through so much.” + “Damn what you doing out here with all this ass? Double cheeked up on a Thursday afternoon, hella ass, the sun is still out!”
The sad thing about Simon is that he wishes that he could be Ice King again because even though Ice King was crazy, he didn't remember all the things he lost. Simon has knowledge of every little heartbreak he's felt in his life and even though he has friends and his adoptive daughter to help him, he still is in so much pain. I just hope he knows what he's doing in terms of helping Fionna and Cake out for his and their sake.
The man has gone through a lot. The feelings Simon is dealing with is very similar to a soldier who suffered from PTSD and doesn’t know what to do with his life.
But that would just be running away from reality at that point. The crown would just be a drug to SImon and with the same results, it wouldn't make him happy just numb to the pain feeling.
The only part i didnt like about this episode was that they treated simon like a joke, through the episode he gets teleported while showering, forced to watch some of his most traumatic memories, called a sad loser because hes not ice king any more, slapped in the face and by the end he wants to become ice king again (which is essentially suicide as the ice king is entirely separate from simon and simon would have 0 control over his body)
@kushkungvivo744 in the first episode they were really good, and while not entirely insufferable in the fourth they were pretty annoying but to be fair we've gotten little dialog from them, I just hope they don't make them completely immature in the upcoming episodes
I really wish they would let Simon be happy for once. It took until the end of the series to finally cure him, the only woman he's ever loved fused herself with an eldritch entity to save his life, and now all he's left with is trauma from years of being ice king and the loss of his partner.
I honestly feel sorry for Simon. Putting on the crown really crushed his life and now I don’t think he’s gunna continue with finding Betty. In some ways he’s considering death.
you can tell Tom Kenny is going all in with Simon. hes gone so far off the deep end when he sees Fionna he doesnt even sound like Tom. fuckin impressive and weve just gotten started
What adds extra heartbreak is that Betty’s whole purpose for doing everything she did in the series was to bring Simon back and when he was he wishes he was back as Ice King
He wants to be Ice King but forgets that he was miserable as well. Chronically lonely and sad, kidnapping princesses because of a vague memory that he used to call betty that (proving that that pain will never go away) just now he knows WHY he's that way so he can process it (which he's not doing, sadly)... I think that the moral will be to not forget/ignore the past like he tried to do with Fionna and Cake's books and ice, but also not live in it like he does for his job and now tries to by becoming Ice King again. It's to deal with it, make peace with it and move on... I really hope for a moment when he realises that just forgetting about the bad will also take away the good - his warm memories of Betty and Marceline = of beeing loved along with the pain of loosing everything... I want him to just be himself, fully. Write wacky books for little girls, but also be Simon, grieving but not making that grief overrun his life. Middle ground... I feel like the little girl who's a fan of Fionna and Cake will be the key...
0:56-0:57 When he said "dude" like that it did resemble how Ned Flanders said it when he loses it. Though it makes sense since both Simon and Ned are at least over 50 years old.
0:50 - Hey Prismo. You think it was cool to put 'your stuff' inside of Simon's Head, just because he was a spaced-out Ice Wizard? That ain't cool, man.
I've been an Ice King fan since day one, I also haven't kept up with the show as of late (I finished all of adventure time though) and...omg my poor babygirl.
I wish they kept the world of Fionna and Cake as an Ice King original idea. Sometimes the F&C story would get some pretty neat dialogue and coherent narration, which in my head was because of Simon subconscious' writing skills. So Ice King would put its 'originality' and character design and Simon his book smarts to make Fionna and Cake happen. But nope, it was all a parallel prismo's universe, and Ice King was merely describing what he dreamed about.
I like your idea as well. Frankly I thought similarly when I saw them retcon that Ice king made F and C. I preferred to think that Fionna and Cake was one of Ice King's coping methods for his crippling loneliness, inventing the characters Fionna and Cake because he couldn't be real friends with Finn and Jake.
Well, I think a lot of what we heard from the Ice King could be justified as him putting his own spin on things (like when Fionna meets the Ice King himself and loves him so much). But I'm not sure what we're supposed to think of Marceline's Fionna & Cake story with the "Bad Little Boy" song.
Same here, I loved that the world of F&C felt like a collaborative effort from IK and Simon, I especially love the episode where Ice Queen also has her own story with an Ice President (getting closer to Simon’s subconscious in the act?), the whole verse being beamed into IK’s head just doesn’t hit at all for me.
I wish Simon could have a happy ending. Because even when he did come back and Betty was able to save him, the reverse happened and now Simon was miserable
I still feel a little sorry for Simon. Being depressed and sad. He is just like me honestly. He can't really let go on what happen to Betty and he just feeling left out. Even spend a thousand years as a Ice Wizard alone which is really sad. Now he got his sanity back, he really don't know exactly what to do in the new world he live in. I feel depressed and lonely myself for 4 years. Again, he is like me almost.
It's so unfair what Simon goes through, like he basically wakes up a THOUSAND YEARS in a future that feels like pure fantasy while knowing that for the past _THOUSAND YEARS_ he was completely out of touch with reality and actively terrorizing the people around him, and he lost the love of his life being cured of that. Someone in the comments of another video likened Ice King/the crown as an addict/drugs, like him being Ice King was like him getting high which let him behave so erratically and harmfully while acting so cheerful and "fun," and now everyone wishes he was an addict again instead of sober bc he's only fun when he's high (I'm heavily paraphrasing it and don't remember who said it originally or even under which video, but it really gives you a lot to think about)
what makes me angry is everyone sayin the exact wrong things to simon every time- no ones comforting hi everyone keeps mentioning the ice king despite him clearly not wanting to talk about his past as the ice king- what he needs is support and maybe terapy but nope! I can understand how he feels to- he was desperate and did a cosmic crime to see his fiance just one last time and it didnt work. he feels like he has nothing and no one who understands him- of course hed feel like his only choice is to go back to being the ice king... he feels like he cant be happy otherwise. i legit cried so much during this episode man i felt so bad for him- him wanting to be the ice king again just feels so wrong and i hope he doesnt permanently change back at least- edit: also side note ice king could not consent to anything so prismo doing that was incredbly messed up to me aswell
Fionna and Cake was real this whole time? Damn, me from 11 years ago would've absolutely loved to see this. (coming from the AT fanfictions kinda hit me back then)
Real talk,is that beer Siomon is drinking? and if so. Does that mean alcohol hasn't existed in the land of Ooh for centuries? damn what a sad place to live in
How do you think Simon interacts woth Fionna and Cake? Kind of wanna talk about their dynamic... like a grumpy dad telling kids to 'go play outside dont bother me'
Day 281 of reminding ppl that I have a better chance at breathing then Masha & Raine have at being non binary, the guy who invented the separation between sex & gender was a pedophile named John Money, and that superman & Lois are a better couple then lumity.
i think that Crown granted Simon a Happiness (In a Twisted Way) and losing the crown also make Simon Fundamentally losing his happiness thus losing a part of him that makes him Happy
Me siento mal por simom .... pero debo admitir que si le hacía falta esa cachetada para que reaccione y ponga los pies en la tierra ya que si Beti estuviera ahí también lo haría estoy 99% seguro 😊
I kinda guess they would do this plot with fiona and cake when they released the first trailer. Either Fiona has her own story told by the Ice king or Simon or Fiona was turn real using magic. The ole "It's magic, anything can happen."
@deimos9558 but that's the thing. I don't think Simon WANTS another Betty. He wants that Betty back. The Betty who's been through it all with Simon. The one whom he pulled through time so he could say goodbye to her, the one who went crazy so she could find a cure for his ice madness, and the one who ultimately sacrificed herself to save not just Simon, but the entirety of Ooo. He wants HIS Betty.
That fact that everyone keeps downplaying his trauma *through his perspective he spend a thousand years as an insane immortal ice wizard who kidnapped princesses, and now that he’s sanity is back, he doesn’t know what to do, since he lost the woman he loves and he’s in a unfamiliar world* Everyone else: He used to be this cool ice wizard, now he’s this sad, boring dude
Being honest Simon is indeed the most tragic character I have ever come across in any media. What makes it even more sad is how many of us including me grew up with ice king as the joke villain and now he is one of the saddest characters ever
i absolutely LOVE tom kenny, and after years of hearing him play hyper high pitched characters, its so nice to hear him play a character so calm and low toned.
An antiquarian adventurer with a PhD. And yes considering Simon revealed that he used to be an outdoorsman that used to camp and go into jungles for expeditions and also actually knows how to use sorcery despite not having access to his own magick says a lot. Basically Simon an extraordinary yet mostly intellectualy bent man in the 20th century, but is just a glorified museum exhibit among future humans... Which probably doesn't help. Though I am wondering why didn't the future humans offer Simon to use their technology to catch up Simon on 1000 years of technological progress and archeological knowledge and knowledge on magick so he can recover his Uni Professor status and at least have the dignity to teach classes again, or more likely just prerecord virtual reality lectures or something. Because him being an exhibit is just frigging disrespectful.
@@kayush01 Also, Prismo is alive because of Finn & Jake going on a reality bending adventure to bring him back. Which led to an alternate-reality Jake having to sleep for eternity to keep Prismo ALIVE. So, just imagine how saddened/depressed Prismo is over prime-reality Jake dying!
I feel so bad for him, I feel like the reason he decided he needed to become ice king again was because of everything he’s been experiencing, not only does he not feel like a part of this world, everyone seems to further alienate him, his house is a human zoo, whenever anyone talks about him they only view him as the IK (which was Simon at his most lowest) everyone keeps on saying he was “cooler” and “happier” as the IK even though the IK suffered a lot too in his maddened state, he was alone for so long and didn’t know why no one wanted to be his friend, he kidnapped princesses because he felt so lonely and wanted some companionship (it’s even more sadder when you realise the reason the IK wanted a princess so badly was because of Betty) Simon feels alone in ooo, he has no purpose now, even during the apocalypse as he was slowly losing himself he had something to do, he had Marcy to take care of, but she’s grown older now and can take care of herself, she even took care of Simon when he didn’t remember her, it’s sad to see him in this state of despair, I hope that Simon is able to find a purpose again and is able to confront his trauma, having him become the IK again would undo not only his character but it would also make Betty’s sacrifice in vein, she wanted him to be himself again, she fought so hard for him to be cured of the curse, she drove herself mad for him and even gave up her own existence for him to be safe and happy, Simon is running from his problems and I think he’s using the situation he’s in with Fionna and Cake as a reason to be the IK again, he wants that ignorance again so he doesn’t have to face his problems, he’s turning his self destructive behaviour into a selfless sacrifice for Fionna and Cakes universe, I do believe he wants to do good and help them out, but having Simon fully regress back into the IK would be so sad,, he’s such a good character and he deserves a chance at happiness in ooo
You actually convinced me that he’s not going to be Ice King again, for precisely those reasons. The very world is pressuring him to take up that role again, but it would make more sense as a character arc for him to decide to stay as himself. As for Fiona and Cake, if Simon gains magic without becoming Ice King, it might give magic back to their world, even if it doesn’t become as crazy as Ooo. Either that, or they might decide to accept their world as it is.
@@_Iscream there has to be some sort of alternative way for Simon to not only help Fionna and cake but also keep his sanity too, since they’re going through different universes in the multiverse there has to be multiple crowns, maybe each crown has a different effect based on how it was created, maybe they could find a way to upload the FC universe into the multiverse, like uploading files from a usb into a computer, all I can really say is that if the series delves deep into the characters and gives them time to develop, I’m hoping we get some sort of friendship going with the main three, it would be nice to see the girls worry for Simon as they see the crowns effects on him, it might even make them want to find alternative methods for his sake
@@elijahbanks1947 that would be nice, I think Simon is really split on both of his identities, things he enjoyed as the IK he doesn’t even want to talk about, he keeps on trying to return to what he used to know before but he can’t, he’s no longer just “Simon Petrikov, the antiquarian” and he’s not just “The Ice King” either, if he can find a perfect balance and find some peace that would be nice, it would be awesome if we get a conclusion to Simon’s character that feels right, where he can embrace the whimsy but still be grounded mentally
imo i would be absolutely shell shocked to see a world 1000 years past what i lived in, where almost everyone i knew is long and dead and the world that existed before was almost entirely wiped out
I haven't seen the 4th episode yet (going slow, you know?), but I liked how Simon hugged Choose Goose after screaming at him for bringing Fionna there instead of Betty. It makes me think that he lied about Choose Goose being "just a spell battery to [him]." I also liked how Prismo was watching a Finn and Jake adventure, alone and unshaven, almost as if he missed them… like we do.
I'm sure he still catches up with Finn but Jake was his bro. I think another reason why he looks so disheveled is because he's still taking Jake's death hard.
@@philly_sports1558 Well, there is also the fact Prismo, in his current incarnation, is dreamt up from an Alternate Timeline Jake who became his sleeping self.
@OminousSoul TRUE, basically, Prismo, by extent, is currently alive because of both Finn & Jake, especially JAKE. So I cannot even fathom how much of a toll Jake's death took/has on him
Is it explained anywhere why Choose Goose ended up crazy and evil looking? I'm all caught up now but I still don't understand why Choose Goose became like that
@@spinolover124 you dont think tumblr's currently NOT exploding with the winter king's admission to wanting to kiss another version of himself?? i've seen at least 4 fanarts of each known version of simon in this series either as "oh my god and they were roommates!" or "oh my god and they were roommates 😳"
I’m so sad they couldn’t get the same actor to play prismo! The new VA is doing his best, but it’s just not the same. Though it seems like Kumail Nanjiani will be able to play him next season, so fingers crossed!
Idk if there's gonna be a next season, there could be more Adventure Time stuff but Fionna and Cake seems like a one and done deal. But yeah, it sucks Kumail's agents seemingly didn't even inform him of the role being open for him to come back, he seemed like he really wanted to do it too :(
It's actually an interesting ordeal and kinda scummy on a third party's end. So someone tweeted @ Prismos VA and asked why he didn't come back, he told them he would have loved to come back but he didn't get invited. Then a member of the show stepped in and let him know they actually did send out an offer to his agents. So it seems Prismo's of VAs' agents are to blame by completely being silent about the gig which is so gross.
I agree. I liked the new VA but there was something about Kumail's laidback and chill delivery that really MADE Prismo as a character. The way he said stuff like "Nuh nuh nuh nuh nasty! Nasty jazz!" just made him so funny and likable. It's obvious that they just have someone doing their best impression, so it's not really the same.
Simon is by far my favorite adventure time character. Not ice king but simon himself. He truly is a tragic character that you seriously can't fault for any of his emotions. You can't call him overdramatic or an asshole for the things he does because honesty it's all completely understandable. He's a man not only out of his element but slightly out of his mind with depression and loneliness. It really remind me of those deep sad well written batman epsiodes with mr freeze. In fact I gotta say it's kinda interesting the similarities between the two characters.
I don't know what to make of the idea of getting Betty back. On the one hand, the notion of anyone being eater by Golb disappearing from existence was pretty terrifying, and I don't think I'd like to see that changed. But on the other hand, she wasn't eaten; she was merged with him by something else. So it stands to reason that she could be un-merged. It somehow still feels like cheapening the ending of the original show to me though. I doubt that they'd go down that route.
Outside of marceline the only reason people even talk/interact with Simon is becuase they want something from him as ice king. He's constantly compared to ice king, mocked for giving it up or condescended too becuase of it. He even resorted to kidnapping a evil magic creature to suck magic from for his spells to return Betty. I'd be flipping everyone off, while attempting to secluded myself hermit style just to avoid the annoyance
I mean Finn while mostly knowing Simmon as the Ice King only told him to try fiction writing again, and took him on what amounted to a hardcore hunting trip to try and keep him too busy to think about his situation.
Poor Simon, Dude. He literally can’t catch a break right now. He could really use some therapy right about now. And I get that he wants to help out Fionna and Cake, but becoming Ice King again is not worth it. Hope he’s not having second thoughts about this. I mean, after everything he’s been going through in the past. Of what’s happened with him, Marceline, Betty and the rest. We cannot risk him take that crown again. Think twice about this, Simon. It just not worth it! For the love of god, have mercy!☹️😣🙏
I hope he get together with Fiona by the end of the series who cares if she is genderbend Finn she is hot and has a more fun personality and better chemistry with simon
Okay, what if Simon wishes for a version of the crown in which the ice powers dont make him crazy and turn him into a stylized non insane magical ice king instead? I can imagine simon wearing that type of crown and being a famous inventor of machines that are made out magic ice that never melts, plus an antiquarian at the same cuz why not????? Damn that's the perfect plot
@@michaelsarmiento3362 theres virtually almost an infinite numbers of realities where Prismo can tap onto and it won't be limiting to his powers. The crown grants immortality so that means that no matter who the next hero is, Simon would be there to protect, to guide and to invent. They just have to wish to go to a reality where Gunther the dinosaur had read all of the og writings of Urgence Evergreen and it has to be the reality where Gunther and Evergreen get k*lled by the comet, but Gunther still wanted to be like Evergreen, hence he wishes upon the crown and gets to be a non insane Version of Evergreen with all of his powers plus knowledge. Thats the reality in which that crown won't make Simon insane again.
Nobody even really liked ice king that much even when he *was* around!! They all treated him like gum on their shoe, or an interesting nuisance at best, yet now all anyone can talk about is how much they preferred ice king over Simon?? That's so fucked!
One thing I wonder about Simon is if he's immortal. Betty's wish was for the power to keep Simon safe. Either it was the power of the crown she was wearing when making the wish or the power of the golb she merged with to make the wish possible. We know that Simon does bleed when injured, and he does feel pain, but can something actually end his life is the question. Not to mention that he healed pretty fast from the wound from the bear. Also, he did say in the second episode in his depressed speech that every day is the same and that he is waiting for what. This may imply that he is aware that he can't die? Also, I wonder how it would play out if the powers of chaos and destruction are keeping Simon from dying when he is about to.
@@EremenatarWell, there is a difference between being unable to age and being unable to die. It’s possible that, with the wish, Simon can still age, but cannot be killed by anything that isn’t aging(and maybe his aging could’ve been slowed). I may end up being incorrect with that whole thing, but it’s a possibility.
The first time Simon came back I think in the episode ‘Betty’ he immediately began to die because quote ‘I’m old’. With the white streak in his hair, he seems to have continued aging, but isn’t dying, so I believe he may be biologically immortal or just plain not being able to die, but can still be injured? Or, maybe it’s because he was reverted to his ‘base form’ in Golb? Though, it was stated that the changes would revert after they left Golb.
@Eremenatar Yes, he seems to be aging, but does that mean he can actually die? What if just when he's about to die, the powers of destruction and chaos revive him? He wasn't in the dead worlds in Together Again, and biologically, he should die before Finn because we saw Finn lived till a very old age, which means whatever happens to him in this series may as well reveal his fate.
Simon: I spent the last 1000 years with no control over my mind, body, or identity. I did horrible things against my own will. My flesh imprisoned me like the gates of my own personal hell and now I exit hell to find a world where I’m alone and everything is unrecognizable. I traded one hell for another. Everyone in Ooo: Bro your such a downer, when’s your next children’s book coming out tho? Fr tho imagine being trapped in the body and mind of an insane person who does crazy, often horrible things for 1000 years, and then finding out everyone _preferred_ you like that. Ouch.
Honestly out of all the characters that I've seen in Adventure Time Simon is the #1 character that I absolutely feel bad for. The dude lost his entire life even lost the love of his life just by some stupid cursed magic crown
Maybe there’s a way for Simon to never make contact with that crown to begin with. Perhaps if prismo could send him back in time before he wears the crown then maybe Simon could live an enjoyable life.
@@ironpulse3658 After watching episode seven where Marceline never met Simon, it made me realize that the fate of humanity would’ve been wiped out because Simon showed Marcy that humans are good characters which in return protect them from vampires.
Man, this guy just wants to see Betty again, and now he’s brought Fionna and Cake to the Land of Ooo from their world. This poor man can’t catch a break, and what’s worst, he wants to become Ice King again to help Fionna and Cake! Simon, please don’t. That crown took too much from you, it messed you up bad, bro.
Fr. Damn right it messed him up. I know, I get that he wants to help out Fionna and Cake, but for the love of Glob, this is just not worth the case. I mean, think about everything he has been through in the past. After all that’s happened with him, Marceline, Betty and the rest. Hope he’s not having second thoughts about this.
I’m sure he’ll find a way to move on as Simon and we’ll be there to watch. In the meantime we get to see Tom Kenny’s range as this might be the most depressing thing he’s worked on.
I hope he get together with Fiona by the end of the series who cares if she is genderbend Finn she is hot and has a more fun personality and better chemistry with simon
I mean...if you think about it bett wished for the ability to keep him safe...what if her asGlob actually made the alternate wrld connected it to his subconscious and lt him make that connection so he can work through his biz...though would she even let him stay iceking even if he tried?
Tom Kenny's performance as the manically hillarious Ice King, right down to the tragic lonliness of Simon Petrikov, this man has really been shaping my childhood with voicing these two, it's like Simon and Ice King aren't even the same people. Simon's voice is soft while Ice King's voice was CRAZY 🤪
bro simon is so traumatized from being trapped in as the ice king for like a thousand years and losing his fiancee which was the reason he chose not to perish when the anti magic thing (forgot the name) un-magicked the crown definitely aint helping that almost everyone is constantly reminding him of that and telling him that ice kings is a better version of him
he didnt even deserve the fucking slap man has A FUCKING POINT. WHAT IS THE POINT IF THERES ALWAYS GONNA BE PEOPLE TAUNTING FROM BEHIND AS YOU TRY YOUR BEST. WHY DOES FIONNA GET A FREE PASS ON LIFE AND DEPRESSION AND ALL THE OTHER LOWKEY FUCKED UP SHIT THAT HAPPENS IN THIS SERIES
The prismo episode kinda made me lose intreset in the series because fionna and cake are kinda jerks. They are really mean to simon who is visibly depressed and they call him names and make fun of him, it didn't feel cool as someone who identifies pretty hard with simon. I mean he is super sad because he lost everything he ever loved and was still like somewhat concious watching through the mad eyes of the ice king. He had to watch as he did all those terrible things he did, and now he's got his sanity back but feels like he lost everyone he ever loved in literal ways like betty and metaphorically like marcy. He feels like he is ruining her life with his sadness, and now he is being called useless and stuff for not wanting to be a crazy madman again. I dunno it felt uncool
To be fair this is adventure time where many characters arguably had it worse than simon. Also instead of valuing Betty's sacrifice he's wallowing in self pity. Simon was also okay with letting thier universe die because he didn't feel like it.
@@Pelican07.23 That is true but on the other hand just because other people also had terrible thjngs happen to them doesn't mean simon is less entitled to his feelings. And to Simons defense he still feels like he lost everything he cares about, which isn't true marcy and finn are there for him. But he feels like he did and that's not his fault for feeling that way, the dudes been through a lot. It just felt like fiona and cake were being pretty rude and inconsiderate to him and it personally didn't feel to great for me
I love Fionna's comment about how happy Ice King seemed. Even during his first few episodes as a minor antagonist, he never took anything personally. He's rather carefree and somewhat ADHD, jumping from one hobby to the next and hyper-obsessing; but always seems satisfied with his life being nonsense. Nothing was ever worth being upset about for long periods of time (he was also still *_rather quite powerful,_* like that's underappreciated). I think they're either going to have Simon turn into Ice King (or something similar) again, or Ice King will separate and become a second person Simon can physically interact with.
Also ice king: spends an entire episode trying to learn how to be happy spends hours talking about how lonely he is draws a face on his foot for a wife because of how desperate he is for companionship is tormented by fits of madness and seeing things no one else can At least Simon understands what's happening to him, being ice king was like being a baby in a warzone
@@Backlavalava I feel like a lot of that is Simon bleeding through, though - the foot-wife and loneliness. When he had people around, hanging casually with Finn and Marceline, few things seemed to bother him.
Simplemente parece que nadie le tiene aunque sea un poquito de empatía real Se ofenden simplemente porque Simón no se sintió mágicamente mejor solo por decir "bro debes superar esto"
The second thing is already a thing. The Ice Thing just acts like Ice King right now. This is before his "getting one if his gems stolen by Jake's grandson" phase.
