WOW, Indian frigate come to the Philippines carrying the fastest missile in the world ''BRAHMOS'' 

The Philippine Army Rating Officer is visiting the "Shivalik" class frigate, INS Sahyadri (F-49), to learn more about his missile capabilities which include "BrahMos", the fastest supersonic missile in the world.
Military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Ramon Zagala, in a statement Friday, said PA officials led by Major General Reynaldo M. Aquino were welcomed by the ship's commander, Captain Ashwin Arvind.
Officials toured the ship, which docked at Pier 15, Manila South Harbor, and gave instructions about the "BrahMos" missile, which could be launched from ships, planes, submarines, or land.
"The Philippine Army is interested in getting this type of missile because it will strengthen our coastal defense operations," Zagala said.
Earlier this month, PA activated the first land missile battery system under the Army Artillery Regiment. This unit is currently working on its training program before getting its equipment in the future.
"The Philippine Army is prioritizing enhancing the capabilities of its various defense fields because it plays an important role in overcoming external threats. We assure Filipinos that we continue to strive to become a world-class Army that is ready to protect our country," he said. added.
INS Sahyadri (F-49) accompanied by an anti-submarine submarine, INS Kiltan (P-30), they arrived in the Philippines on October 23 and will end their good intentions on the 26th.
INS Sahyadri has 6,200 tons of displacement, 142.5 meters long and 16.9 meters beams, and is armed with various missiles, torpedoes and rockets for anti-ship, anti-air and anti-submarine missions along with 76mm automatic cannons.
INS Kiltan, on the other hand, has a displacement of 3,000 tons, a length of 109 meters, a beam of 12.8 meters and is armed with weapons, torpedoes, and rockets.
