Until I started watching RU-vid channels, I didn't realize that so many people still love primitive, including me. This home is amazing.

I am out of my mind looking at all your beautiful primitives!! I will watch this over and over. Thank you for sharing. You have wonderful taste.

It’s inspiring to know that this sweet lady, as well as many others who decorate this way, say that it takes them many years to get their homes to look like this. Patience is not my strong point. I always want to buy everything right now. And I have to restrain myself because we too are on a very tight budget. So, knowing that this style doesn’t happen overnight, gives me some relief.

Okay, this just begs a comment. First a question. Are there any prim antiques left in Tennessee? Because if not I know where they are!!! Now this woman has a serious problem. She knows what she loves and then loves on them some more when she arranges her vignettes. That is a true talent and commitment. What a gem. Wow! No wonder I can’t find any primitive decor. I love primitive things and I so wanted to decorate my home in primitives. I live in Florida and could only find a few pieces that were primitive here. I searched for a couple of years trying to find primitive living room furniture ( sofa & chairs & such) with no luck. I searched on line but shipping was astronomical so I just gave up and went more vintage instead. But I still love the primitive style.

Wow ! Agree, this is why I can't find too many things. 😁 I just started primatives less than a year ago. Before my passion was Victorian. Now I mix the two. My goal with prims is just to represent the categories. I have a few dough troughs,and bowls ,a nice collection of mashers and kitchen utensils. 11 or so various crocks, one butter press. More, but like I said, just trying to represent and have the feel. I learn so much from others homes and appreciate it all. My prize item is a 29 inch tall masher. The vendor humorously labeled it the marriage counselor .😁
