@@chasepineda2585 I never said anything about money I just said my family has one and they fun and and everyone should be able to have one. Just cause my daddy has money and yours doesn’t you don’t have to come at me. 🙄
Last year one of these boats pulled in by our camp on the lake, the helicopter was always near it flying or just on top and there was a huge inflatable slide on the side of it. I'm going back to Powell in a couple days and I'm excited for that
Totally awesome - Think of all the great jobs created to build everyone of these. Many years ago I started my adulthood working at the Boston Whaler Boat Company & that job put me through night school & helped me marry young & buy my 1st home.
Wow so luxurious...you know what else is luxurious. Me being able to decide which FULL lake i want to fish on next weekend. Got about 100 to choose from.
what better way to preserve not only Lake Powell , but the planet as well.⁹ No need to go traipsing around and damaging the beaches ,no drain on the power grid , plus these boats last almost forever...probably a half life of at least 50 years...
perhaps someday there will be floating modular designer shopping malls on Lake Powell to enable the occupants of the opulent to indulge in one of their favorite pastimes while on holiday.
@Piper Stapleton Put it on a trailer and move it to the Lake Of The Ozarks . Take the southern route . Try not to spend all your money along the way . You'll want to buy a lot of Bud Lite , Michelob Ultra, Budweiser, Busch, Busch Lite and all kinds of other stuff Missouri is famous for after you get there . What ever that stuff is . Oh yeah , boats and partying .
I went on one of these house boats and it was a Beautiful boat. The exterior takes a bit of getting used to but the interior is just stunning. The interior was designed completely differently too it was very modern and sleek.
Lacey McMurry: I am pretty sure it’s a time share boat. Most of these house boats at lake powell operate like that. Owning a week on that boat is like a $150,000 investment, then you share the maintenance costs with 8-10 other owners throughout the year.
@Somali Kid Its a man made lake. I believe the point of their post was the lake is down roughly 100 ft and has been getting lower and lower as the South West US has been in a massive drought for years. There has been discussion about draining the lake.
