Ive been wondering for some time now and since you just mentioned how much its costing you to go around and trash pick..have you ever added up the miles/gas against what you make at the flea markets selling it all to see if you break even, make less or more for a profit?? Just these 2 things against each other NOT the other things you do that profit you. You are a hard worker.
Agreed it’s for piano players. The stools for organ players usually have a little back support added since it takes more physical effort to play the organ.
My Grandma had a piano stool just like the one you picked up, with the glass ball feet. It came new with her Mother's piano in 1883, which my Grandma played until the early 1980's, on that same stool. That stuff was made to last! Cheers.
There was a little Rascals Episode where a little girl got hit by a car and they started a program where they handed out buttons and the kids were taught to look both ways and don't think cars will always stop, and for many years, many followed that from that episode. 😁

That claw footed piano stool is definitely an oldie. I'm glad that all of the glass balls are still on it as sometimes those get broken off. It should have some decent value. A little clean up and some oil would give it more value and wouldn't take too much effort to do. Not a bad day.
In grade school, 70 years ago, we learned-Stop, look and listen, before you cross the street, use your eyes, use your ears, and then you use your feet, before you cross the street😊

The piano stool is at minimum $100. The claw and ball feet alone sell for $15-25 each! Condition is the only issue on the stool looks like some wood filler in it , but it could be easily restored.
When my kids were young, I had taken them out trick or treating on Halloween. My 12 year old son - who had told me this would be his last year, since he was now too old to go out collecting candy - suddenly darted into the street. I opened my mouth to yell at him to come back, but then I realized he had grabbed some woman's toddler who had darted into the street. Whew! Needless to say, both that mother and I thanked him profusely.
Taco, actually not piano benches, they would be organ stools. Your old organ stools had to be pumped by air bellows and you had to stay in position. Bench were sliding sideways on a piano to mooove it to the right and then slide in on over to the left.
it's amazing how many chairs wind up at the curb ... was that a catalytic converter on the exhaust system? If so you were extremely lucky ... There are thieves that steal them off of cars in the city .... Nice crockpot (insta-pot??) I hope it still worked when you try it at home ... Taco do not worry about talking to yourself ... We ride with you in spirit and you are one of the sanest people out there ... PEACE!!!!
I love old trash cans….some sell for quite a bit of money…..That thing might have been to hide your garden hose…..Oh that claw foot is gorgeous…..That dates back to 1700…England…PLEASE CHECK IT OUT….DO NOT SELL IT FOR CHEAP!!❤

Gas has increased to $6.29 in my neighborhood. Saw yesterday someone complaining that they're paying $2.89 in S. Carolina and I keep thinking these people have no idea how good they've got it. As always I love the content and presentation, Mr. T! Also, since it is from a Volvo it must have a catalytic converter, not a Cadillac converter.
Bargain Barons got a couple pieces of furniture with the same glass marble feet. I chuckled about when you said psychopath. We all have our own corks about us. Seeing someone talking into a camera or phone no one really bats an eye about it now. Back in 2000 or so my mom, sister and I went to the dollar store. My sister and I were in one aisle and my mom in the aisle next to us. All of a sudden we hear our mom talking loudly. We go around the corner, she's still speaking loud and she's the only one there. People were passing by looking down the aisle. She does it so much and doesn't even realize it.

We have a piano stool just like the one you found that has been handed down thru the family. It's from the '40s or '30s we think. If you find out more info please share.
That light house could be repaired , mix white glue and cotton Baton Paste it on the surface paint it , that stuff is stronger than any wood , just saying this stuff is amazing!!!!!!!
I have a table that looks like that stool. They tell me it is worth big $$$. I don’t if it is, but do know that is antique! That’s all the info I have it
