Joe Smith Jr. is a great fighter in his own right but in Mickey Bey’s opinion, he has no chance against Artur Beterbiev later tonight. Take a look at some of the crazy sparring stories Mickey Bey shares with me surrounding Beterbiev
His 2nd weapon is cutting the ring. He can make a fooball yard becoming a red phone booth. But sometime he take too much punches and thats could be fatally wit bivol a boxer that trows lot of combinations.
FACTS. After getting comfortably beaten by Bivol, you know that Team Clownelo immediately put that restraining order on Beterbiev. Canelo vs. Beterbiev will likely never happen now. Saul gets KO'd by King Artur, no question.
@@carlossierra2812 “Also moved from 168” What are you talking about? Bivol fought his whole career at light heavyweight. People may argue that he’s got the frame of a super middle but Bivol is THE legit 175 lb champion
@@box576 canelo also lost to ggg twice, but it is what it is . And I agree canleo chose the right guy to fight, he should stay the fuck away from beterbiev unless he wants brain 🧠 damage
@@box576 he got embarrassed, when everyone had him knocking bivol out hahahha 😆😂🤣 . Its funny to hear people speak when they don't know anything about boxing
Strongest LHW in history. Just my opinion folks. An older vid I saw about 2 years ago he benched 6 plates (20kg each) plus 2x10kg plates plus the 20lb bar. Total of about 352lbs. I think I remember is was a few reps. I know I saw recent vid of him doing 1 rep but I couldn't figure out the weight with many varied sizes of diminishing smaller weights perhaps at the end of a progressive routine of many sets and reps. I saw him arm wrestle with heavyweight Russian stable mate Arslanbek Makhmudov who weighs 265lbs at 6ft ‘6. He had to use both arms and all his weight to bring Beterbiev’s arm down. Anywhere he clubs you on top of the head he seriously hurts you and those are just arm punches.... If you lay on the ropes and allow him to get his hip and legs into his punches you can make a case for attempted murder. Reports from ESPN Joe Smith went to hospital suffering from a concussion. Hope he makes a full recovery. watch?v=9XbxHoJWpGs
In slow mo after Beterbiev landed that overhand right, there were waves over Joe Smith's head similar to an earthquake; no wonder he suffered a concussion.
he's craaaazy for sure. he could be killing dudes in heavyweight if he wanted, genuinely he's like mike tyson in the 80s if mike tyson went down to light heavy
@@jabr0nicus What is most amazing is that Beterbiev keeps improving his game at 37, which was clear from his last fight against Smith where he showed new wrinkles - absolutely stunning lateral movement, fighting from the back foot and otherworldly timing.
Beterbiev has an uncouth right hook that he hits opponents on the side of their head with and it is hard and heavy like a club of war ♣️ he is heavy handed and he's physically too strong that he bulldozes the opponents. Once he in the amateur days he was over the limit of light heavyweight division so he fought at cruiserweight (called heavyweight in amateur) and guess what he faced Usyk and knocked Usyk down with a bodyshot !!!
you can't defend yourself against that kind of power. Most hitters need to hit you in the face to knock you out.... this guy anywhere on top of the head even partially blocked can knock you out. And those are mostly arm punches. If you lay on the ropes and allow him to leverage from his hip it's almost criminal.
Russ anber and scully said it's the russia boxing organisation who put beterbiev in heavy weight... it was not related of his weight but with politics....
@@steelwater3947 I did hear that recent interview of Russ Anber where he also talked about Beterbiev and said that. Whatever the motive was, Beterbiev was not 91kg that is the amateur heavyweight division limit, as he fought Usyk
😂😂😂 aint it funny , when he telling the story he looks like he worried about getting hit by him 😂😂😂😂. His facial expression never changed the whole interview thats how u know he ain't lying 😂😂😂
Yeah his skills are solid. Then with that special difference making power, hes almost unbeaatable right now. He can also take some punishment too which he hasn't had to show, but he just seems built like a tank.
I've heard that sometimes when Atur's sparring, the leather of his sparring gloves often explodes open into a giant dustified cloud of what was once the foam padding.
Power like that of Arthur Beterbiev is from his genetic musculoskeletal constitution which is improved with physical training and even further heightened by proper punching execution and timing. When a natural puncher hits you, his body (muscles, skeleton) does not give way. It is sturdy and would absorb less impact. That means most of the impact (energy) is projected towards the person being hit. I would bet that Beterbiev's bone density is high. He has tremendous thudding power.
your doing too much bro, just watch his training video and you will realise why he hits so hard, its because unlike most other boxers he conditions his hands frequently which makes them very hard and tough so when he hits you its like a rock smashing your head, ill give you and example you have two hammers both weight the same however one is made of iron the other is made of wood which will cause more destruction?
Beterbiev is Marciano freakish strength for his size. If Beterbiev was fighting in the 50's he would be 190 and would beat all the guys Marciano beat but probably sooner as he had more skill and way better accuracy. Just like Marciano, I believe he could have fought the heavyweights of the seventies and done very well because he is so strong for his weight. Look how he put down Usyk twice with body shots and Usyk is a legit heavy and Beterbiev is light heavy.
Arthur Beterbiev is just a different breed man. I'm still surprised that some pros are giving Bivol a 'W' against this beast. I have him ruling at 175 for a while after the highly anticipated Bivol fight.
Nah bivol beats him easy, bivol defense better then beterbiev offense. Also beterbiev gets hit easy, bivol never gets hit. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kkbIN1D3qcs.html
@darryl if anyone can beat him it’s def Bivol . Bivol has the stamina to move around for 12 rounds if he fights that type of fight fight will be boring but he will probably beat Artur .
@@deszi6936 Bivol is strong enough to not be Bullied. He is mentally strong. His style allows him to keep Beterbiev at a safe distance. By no means do I think its an easy fight but he will control the fight. Beterbiev relies solely on his ability to control the pace and the action. Bivol will neutralize that. I think people will be surprised when Bivol catches Beterbiev as he exits the exchanges.
After seeing him fight Smith, Beterbiev showed something so different went from “ Rocky Marciano to Boxing like Cassius Clay floating and hitting like a wrecking ball “- Showbizz
its crazy that everyone artur has ever sparred says hes the best p4p fighter and all these fighting analist that never fought any of these guys still choosing bivol to win
*Canela better stay FAR away from BBB.... Bivol, Beterbiev and Benavidez....In a rematch Bivol will take Canela back to school. Beterbiev and Benavidez will put Canela in the dirt.*
it's the hands man his fists are like two hands in one Then his knuckles are really big. Plus the exercises he does he do then on top of that he turns over his shots so well and gets that torque behind his punches.
Beterbiev is not the most athletic guy and has short arms but his power is absolutely sickening. You just need hear the punches landing and they sound different from anybody else in the division. It's ok if you manage to move the whole fight, but once you become stationary, the power will crush you.
Bro i can see how hard he hit....his shit different....did you see son's workout doing pushups on his wrist while jumping in the air....homeboy different
I still feel the same way! I think Bivol is much better skilled but soon as he tries that in & out sht & Beterbiev lands a good one off the side of his dome its OVER for Bivol & thats my boy but truth is truth
-Bivol lands 16.7 pillow punches/round against small boxer or weak boxers and Beterbiev lands 19.4 heavy chirurgical punches/round against champs and mandatories fighters. - Accuracy: 30.5% Bivol vs 31.8% Beterbiev - Beterbiev has the best timing in boxing p4p. It's the skill #1 in boxing. - Beterbiev start a round orthodox and finish southpaw... Why nobody mention that?. - The # of punches increase round after round. The energy bar is all time full. - Beterbiev has an excellent footwork and he is never unbalance. A good footwork is not dancing like micheal Jackson. Beterbiev boxing also on his back foot. He KO Joe Smith BACKWARD...
I'm telling y'all Artur struggles to make 175lbs for light heavyweight. Imagine him at 190lbs on the scales for cruiserweight, prob 195-200lbs walking into the ring, he's be a tank at cruiserweight and batter most of the cruiserweights for sure
what are you talking bro...he never struggled with that weight....in olympics he wanted to fight at this weight but the russians gave it to another guy and told him to fight heavyweight till 91kg....as he fought usyk he told in a interview he had only 83 kg....bro dont tell us made up storys...he is a natural 81kg but he told also that he wanted usyk in cruiserweight where usyk was undisp....champ but the management of usyk never answer back....usyk knows that he is in trouble against arthur....
Yea u got snap power like manny, lomachenko, u got sneaky power like Floyd u got explosive power like tank, caneLo, wilder and Crawford, u got the thud, like foreman, beterbiev ,Spence, Danny Garcia. But all types mean nothing if u can’t land it in a fight when it matters ! I can hit a heavy bag as hard as some of these guys lb fir lb, but the ability to set up up, combine with defense and traps and strategically instilling it in ur gameplan, that’s why these guys are the best, and btw, there are mma and kickboxers and others who are elite strikers on the level of boxers, look at Strickland, Israel adesayno, Jon jones, Silva, and others im forgetiing at this moment
I have no preference. Both are the fighters I root for. I met Bival since I am an American who moved to his home town, St Petersburg. He is very skilled, a super nice calm intelligent articulate respectful guy, the type you want your daughter to marry. He is married to a very intelligence stunning girl, the perfect couple. But Artur is a beast who is humble, did it the hard way, respectful, a nice quiet man also, I really wished they were in difference classes because both should be champs in their class, neither will trash talk or make excuses.
@@SSS-ie6mhbelieve me I watch the fight btw beterbiv and usek it was a clear robery arthur won that day but the judges they wanted something else Usyk got beaten that day from arThur go watch it again
Im not a religious man at all, but im very sure his faith in god gives him his power, stamina etc, and he doesnt drink alcohol. I wish i had that kind of discipline
How the fuck is he hitting like that? Usually boxers get adjust to get hit and suddenly they can’t sparr a full round?? Is he using plaster??? It sounds like a Margarito story “He’s a guy that can hurt you with anything”
dagestan and chechnya produces some of the best fighters in the world not surprised beterbiev is breaking the spirit of his boxing opponents. reminds me of khabib a bit from ufc
This dude fought Usyk in the amateurs. He's a pretty dense guy plus take into account where he's from and a devout muslim so he doesn't party and has high level mental discipline.
There is a story that I consider to be bloody, terrifying, and causing madness, which is that Batterbiev was in Berlin training in one of the boxing clubs, and there were 4 brothers boxers, and one of them fought with Petribev, and Petribev killed him from the first round. The three brothers came to him and asked to give each one of them the opportunity to train in the coming days, so Petribev agreed....then he went and entered the arena alone...so he did not understand the translation of their words. They mean that every day someone will play with you hahahaha They were ready for this killer
@@allinonethegreat Yarde has KOd 22, far as I'm concerned only the last 5/7 count because I guarantee the first 10 for each of them were trash who nobody ever heard of before or since and are not even in top 50 on any list.
ask all the sparing partners like Jean-Pascal, Lonnie B, Chad Dawson, Dan Azeez and also Callum Johnson who fight Beterbev. All say Beterbiev will beat Bivol. They are better reference than you. Beterbiev gave a better lesson of boxing to Smith jr in less than 2 rounds than Bivol in 12 rounds. Beterbiev was #1 p4p in amateur. Beterbiev won a silver medal at the 2007 World Championships, gold at the 2008 World Cup, 2009 World Championships, as well as gold at the 2006 and 2010 European Championships, all in the light-heavyweight division. He also reached the quarter-finals of the heavyweight bracket at the 2012 Olympics. he was robbed and knockdown Usyk. he knockdown Usyk 3 times. The ring Magazine show a record 295-5 in amateur, Slow? 😂😂😂. A boxer need a lot of skills to accomplish that. His 19 KO are because of his skills mainly...
