I liked the first performance. Just my opinion but I think his theatre career would be more promising when he had SHORT HAIR. A beautiful voice & regardless he has a great career ahead of him.

All I Ask of You really showed Matthew at his best. Eleanor Rigby wasn’t a good choice by Ricky. I liked Mamma and thought he deserved to stay. It’s a shame Delta didn’t turn when he sung You Raise Me Up. ALL I ASK OF YOU was definitely Matt’s best performance. Great to see Matt doing so well on the musical theatre scene. I’m a mother, daughter and granddaughter of musical theatre performers both here in Australia and London, West End. REACH FOR THE MOON AND YOU WILL TOUCH THE STARS MATT. ❤️

OUTSTANDING! Matthew sang that Phantom of the Opera song with so much feeling. He had me in tears and goosebumps. Phantom of the Opera is my FAVORITE Opera and when I heard the 1st note I thought I hope he doesn't mess things up.. and let me say, he shut me up really quick and I gave so many apologies! BEAUTIFUL JOB!!

My favorite was really "Mama." God but it was gorgeous. Given that my mom died just under 2 years ago, it was even more meaningful to me. Happily, i did say everything i should have and wanted to her. BTW, she was 88 years old and was a super good and sweet person who lived a very good life, so no regrets. ❤❤❤

I believe if you weren’t so shallow about the man’s attire, you must live under a stone or something because the attire is perfect for him for the 1st audition because it shows us & judges that even with the all the skin ink he’s may have many difference to offer in his tattoos! Like his incredible voice and his beautiful face/body! Why would he want to hide his body from the world?? Women are expected to have their bodies on FULL display so why can’t a man be the same?? Dumb question perhaps but I don’t think that there are any wrong questions out there! ❤❤✌🏼✌🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Why on earth didn’t she!? He sang beautifully!!! The show is called The Voice. What else was she looking for? Perhaps he’s best off on his own path. It’s huge to be succeeding as an artist, and he already is. Back then, I would have watched the show to hear him.

Opera? He isn't singing opera? He is singing a song from The phantom of the opera, which is a musical, and not an opera. There's a huge difference!

Not the right choice of song for either of them. And hearing it being sung with a show tune,almost opera voice voice did not work. Neither have a rock voice.
