I thought primark was a cheap English brand??? We have GU and coca and the prices generally have not changed over the past few years. But every time I visit the UK I notice primark is no longer a budget option for many people. Which is really sad now.

Target is pretty much the American equivalent but primark is spreading across the States its in Boston and New York

There are several ethical issues with Primark, more than any other fashion brand, including environmental issues like pollution and toxics, workers' rights, animal rights, animal testing, use of controversial technologies, anti-social finance and likely use of tax avoidance strategies. Do NOT buy there!

@@Mabel461well, actually it is. I completely understand the moral and ethical issues with buying from Primark but not everybody can afford to have high end, brand new clothing. That’s why primark appeals to so many people as it’s affordable
