Glad to see I’m not the only one who just shed a tear and got emotional after listening to this powerful Celtic ballad! We need more light and magic in this world✨💚🥹 Good luck Ireland 🇮🇪🏆☘️
I'm Irish, and after Brooke didn't qualify for Ireland in adult Eurovision I lost interest in that contest, but Ireland are back in JESC!! This is a masterpiece!!!! Hopefully this will break the ice and get us a top 5!! Thanks for the positive words!! :D
Best song and performance by far for Jr. Eurovision. This song moves me to tears each and every time I listen to it. Sophie is absolutely brilliant. The girl can act too.
Celtic culture and its languages are beautiful and it sounds so beautiful! Ireland should send something like this to the adult version 100% also, because this is absoluty magic ☘️🇮🇪🫶🥹 ¡Absoluty LOVE from Spain 🇪🇦! God job Ireland ☘️ #JESC2022
A little fairy singing in irish gaëlic language with a so beautiful voice !! My favorite one this year, just as Annna Kearney was before. So representative of this wonderful country !! i will vote for her for sure.
I've got goosebumps Just imagine this song winning, her singing this song at the end of the eurovision, ahhh, this is a magical song and this girl is so pretty 😍💗 I just feel like I'm in Narnia or sth, and I just want to fly
It's a beautiful song and I'm sure she'll sing it wonderfully. If she does then I'm she will do well with the juries. However my worry is that it may not have an immediate televote connection compared to some of the more instant upbeat and potentially more cheorographed songs. The staging is going to be crucial to how well this does and that's where I have some concerns. I hope they get it right and she gets Ireland its best result so far.
The quality at JESC this year is ridiculous and Ireland just added on to the pile. It's legitimately depressing that there are those will finish low on the board. Sophie's vocals are among the top of the class.
Top half would be a great result for Ireland. The online voting generally prevents smaller countries or countries where JESC isn't popular from winning.
Love this. I think there are so many good songs i think its going to come down to the live performance how many can do it live. Id love for more songs like this. Like a welsh language song for the main eurovision
A couple of bots of context around the Irish Language to understand the song and visuals 'Solas' the title is Irish for 'Light' The chorus line 'Is míse on solus' in English is 'I am the Light', this helps understand the dress change when the light house turns on.
