I got pulled over once and was so confused as I was 100% going the speed limit and driving normal. I thought I must have a light out or something. He came to my window and said "why are you evading me?" I was more confused and said "was I speeding???" He replied no. So I said I'm sorry I don't understand, he kept insisting I was evading him but I didn't understand how that was possible if I wasn't speeding and was litteraly going home. My apartment was across the street in front of me. The only thing that finally made him leave was, I was dating a cop at the time. She won’t be sued, unfortunately cops have qualified immunity! The city’s tax payers dollars will be settling this matter. We must end qualified immunity to end police harassment so they are personally liable.

Any time an officer is conducting a stop you're legally detained, on foot or in a motored vehicle. She's acting under reasonable suspicion and conducting an investigation. Depending on the state, not identifying yourself could be grounds for an arrest if the officer's suspicion is not dissolved by the person being stopped/ questioned. He learned the law the hard way, probably got charged with obstruction of justice among other things.

The 1st amendment (1A) right allows the auditor to photograph or video in a public place anything that his eyes can see. Those police violated his 1A right which is not usurped by any other state or federal law. If the auditor launched legal agtion against those police, it is highly likely that he would win the case brought against them for illegal detainment and breacking his 1A right. Compensation would flow from that win to the auditor.

So if you were in your driveway say working on your car and four or five people showed up and was taking video of you without saying why and just wanted a reaction out of you your saying that wouldn’t bother you a bit? You would just let them film you? I don’t think so. When we have a vehicle pulled over and we’re doing our investigation and people show up filming it’s not that we don’t want to be filmed it’s we don’t want to have to watch you and do the investigation. We don’t know who they are we don’t know if we’re going to get shot or what. It’s very hard to be a cop these day. We love our job we love helping people and being there when people need us but you have to understand that there are a lot of people that would love to take a shot at us. Most people that hate cops only hate them because they were arrested for a crime they committed. These same people never hesitate to call us when they are being violated in some way. There should be a paper you have to sign if you hate cops saying since you hate us you’re not aloud to call us for anything. 911 will not respond to your address or name. That would be dfair to me. I work hard to do my job and yes I would quickly and swiftly remove a frauditor and put them in jail. All they want is a reaction and I would give them one they would never forget along with my chief. I just had to respond to what you said I don’t mean any disrespect to you but I don’t understand your thinking.

@@valuecalc I'm not saying that the way he handled wasn't the best way to do it what I am saying is that he was in his constitutional rights to be doing what he was doing and the cop had no right to do what she did of course she would say it was a safety issue on why she had backup come and help her put him in cuffs the cops doing this was a violation of constitutional rights of his if you know how the cops are trained in the academy you'll know that she would would've in most cases been able to detain him if things escalated to physical actions cops are trained in the academy in judo to do self-defense tactics but since she called for backup and grabbed him the way she did that's why we have a disconnect between citizens and cops and why people don't trust them

(I just wonder how the judges handle these issues.) They basically acknowledge it by dodging the subject. Still, I suggest not having a discussion with cops. Always insist on seeing an attorney. This Anselmo spent too much time yacking with the wild female officer. So, he may have held the right to film stuff, but if someone there complains about it to the cops, then the trouble comes.
