WoW SoD Phase 3 prep: GAME-CHANGING CONSUMABLES list 

Greetings Mighty one of Azeroth. I am not sure if it will be stronger. Engineering has always been such a fun go to for my toons of BoomBoom carnage . I do not know though, just fun game play. (: The good ol times of popping sappers with your Pals at the rush of Blacksmith, or soon the heroic battle of AV. I am really excited to see what season of discovery bring for us inside Azeroth for professions like you mentioned Alc/Enchanting . Until then, I can only have fun imaging new ideas of what Enchanting or Alchemy can bring . (::::

I'm going mining on my main, and it will be stronger 'cause I'll actually be able to make enough gold to afford all the consumables in this video.

A goblin land mine on viscous fallout adds 80-120 dps to your total dps if the tank pulls the adds into it. Any fight with adds or big trash speed runs engineering will be bis by a mile. A lot of guilds require engineering for next phase.

afaik the recipe is not available this phase, it is p5 . unless you have seen the recipe, i have not yet

@@NOHITJEROME They have had phase 5 consumables available. Mana oils were not available until phase 5 but are currently in game. I suppose it is possible they wont be as I havent seen anything official on the subject, but I imagine it will be and is worth mentioning in the comments

@@NOHITJEROME im sorry to hear that brother! infact as I type this I just finished my 21st quest and I am officially done, I just took the highest exp reward quest out of STV/Tanaris/Ferals and winged it, it was a smooth journey!

7th quest done, tanaris was a blast. just need tooga and the dowsing quest followup scrimshank thing. smooth over here too, only got ganked once

me too. quick rundown: spent 1k+ for leveling launch, maxed tailoring day 1 thinking that would profit..0 gold. investments didn't move much, nobody had any gold for like 2 months. spent 300g+ learning cath boost..was hard not to lose money. what ended up costing you money in the end?

@@NOHITJEROME power leveling professions and maxing all recipes such as enchanting which somehow had double the amount of competition as in phase 1. Could make like 20-50g/hr+ in phase 1 AFK’ing doing enchanting. Made maybe 10g/hr peak in phase 2 in enchanting. Too many people with quicker algo invites than me and people somehow are tipping less than phase 1. Also full consuming every raid every pull. Friends all quit and stopped having motivation to log on and continue staying competitive in the market. I still have 2 pretty unique upcoming videos planned for SoD that are in the works though. So I’ll make some gold passively while I casually play phase 3.

ya that's why goldfarming is so key and why every time i make a gold video ppl say what's the point there are no gdkps..WELL THIS IS WHY. NOBODY WANTS TO FARM WINTERFALL FIREWATER lol :D

@@NOHITJEROME I like the gdkp argument, it's so delusional to think that gold would have no purpose outside of those raids. Most people just think from wall to wallpaper, it's astonishing.

hmmm.. i like your comment but for me the fun only lasts so long, how else do i stretch it out? in a phase that lasts 3+ months at least. p2 was too short, the fun was still there

sapper is amazing, the only problem..it costs a small fortune to use them on cooldown. always remember rankers using sappers every fight and wondered how the could afford them.. as for the red light green light, legally those gnomes were consenting and my restraining order got dropped. as for the pallets, they are floating because when you stay up for 40 hours the pallets have to float to get the job done. and that was asmongold, i pushed asmongold. why? i dont know. im going to jail now. goodbye.

hi you can run mongoose + blasted lands consumes. but you can't run the new ST consume + blasted lands buff

@@CB-su3mx yessir the mojo island one does not stack with blasted lands. however for a lot of classes the mojo is NOT better than the blasted lands. believe that may be the case for hunter but don't want to give wrong info

hmm...this is a very good metaphor. i believe the winter squids will go down and then..SEASON TWO: a new bonus food fishable inside sunken temple (or something)..because blizzard doesn't want the supply to hit 0 :D

seems like a smart idea i want to run it. working on new list of updated bis consumes for my hunter and priest. seems things are different than expected in a lot of ways (AND EXPENSIVE lol)

tbh the droprate is terrible and the mobs are like level 53-55, 20 is a stretch it was probably less

@@NOHITJEROME so the worst drop rate imo are the Boar Lungs - everything else has a decent drop rate. And there is normally only 1 spot for each mob type. However, with them keeping STV relevant for 50 and us being on 1 layer , its going to be a waste of time or something do early in the day or very late at night , main reason being : even if you group up, you just made it worse since EVERYONE wants the drops. Also , You can only use one at a time, with full world buffs use them offensively, if you die in raid , pop the next. This is even MORE important as a Tank who will hold one for threat and another for mit in the bags (25 stam). And if anyone bots there, itll get camped and killed. It used to be only niche players went for Badlands buffs, considering Classis had a buff limite. But just like Fishing use to also be niche, itll be overcrowded again. Lets just say, let them bring back layers and turn STV into an Instance once it begins.

sorry i was talking about the winterfall items being 20 in 3 hr, as for blasted boar etc those are a nightmare. more layers are the only solution for farming or spending lots of gold. i think ill just buy them lol

lesser wiz oil, demonic runes (big) superior mana pots, can go crazy with felwood plants if you really want, nightfin soup, major recombobulator

see i think they WILL add another fish.. so many new recipes.. so many new items. and yet the PRIMARY food for physical dps (not sure yet if we can get sunfruit..need to dbl check, but no smoked desert dumplings yet) - it can't be a limited item lol. the prices will go up and up and up. barely anyone fished winter squid i feel like

Blizzard already screwed me by making the Wolfshead Helm in lw obsolete. Now it's enchanting. I farmed the mats for several hours a day over a couple of weeks. Got enough to make 18, now useless. If they screw me on the winter squid, that's it, I'm done. I spent 2-3 hours a day for 6 weeks fishing, and I'm sitting on 111 stacks.

hmm..well we can run the same consumes as casters. plus the new zanza style buff will be nice. frankly they just want everyone to dps it feels like. flasks would be the biggest game changer if we can spam distilled wisdom but we won't have it yet. at least we can farm demonic runes easily

this was probably considred the caster phase believe it or not. this next phsase feels like the physical dps phase. just rough if your classs isn't good

@@NOHITJEROME ya when i saw the world buff it was a big sign that casters are gonna have it rough this phase if they need that extra huge sp buff to be competitive

oh wow...you absolutely should...forgot those existed. used to love using them in classic on my mage. thank you for pointing that out. one other question - do you know if greater arcane could possibly be available? or are we forced to wait

@@NOHITJEROME Well, according to Wowhead it should be able to drop from Fireguard Destroyer and Anvilrage Medic in BRD. So as long as we can access that dungeon it should be possible to farm this there. Other than that according to Wowhead it can drop of 55-56 regular mobs or 56+ elite mobs in the world, so a group should be able to farm this techincally, not sure if it will be that efficient tho (0,02% drop chance from elite mobs) My best guess is that this will be viable in phase 4, but not impossible in phase 3, will probably take a while before we see the recipe on AH or that someone is crafting these. Whomever get their hands on the recipe will not have to worry about gold for the rest of SoD :)

@@NOHITJEROME Just looked through loot tables for the first bosses in BRD and 4 of the 5 first bosses drops really nice loot that is useable at 50, hard to say however it compares to ST loot, but these bosses also drops Gift of the Wild for druids and Prayer of Fortitude for Priests which many probably wants to have. In addition Plans: Dark Iron Pulverizer drops from Grizzle in Ring of Law event, 2h mace with 47 dps, 140-211 dmg, 3.7 speed and a whopping chance on hit: Stuns target for 8 seconds which will be insane in pvp. And why not prep for P4 by farming SGC 😁 There is a lot of nice loot that can be useable in phase 3 so might be worth to look more into this and compare to raid loot

don't forget that songflower is purgable..your raid is in 20min and some alliance priest is sitting there mind controlling and purging everyone while you desperately try to get the songflower buff. LMAO

absolutely ron. 1 tip i didn't mention in the video if you want to make some gold - you can farm bloodpetals now. IF for some reason the healing pot recipe is not available on tuesday..you are gonna be a rich man on launch with hundreds of healing pots. though i predict they add the recipe

:D glad you see it now. one more thing that i cut from the video was the bloodpetal thing - you can stock up bloodpetals and turn them in for major healing potions at level 47 in ungoro. IF the recipe isn't available tuesday, this is going to be a great goldmaker.

@@NOHITJEROME oh that's a nice piece of information, kindoff worried healing pots will crash quickly due to the high volume of chests that will be opened at lvl 50 from dungeon spamming and pickpocketing
