The damn median coming from Albion needs to be corrected as well, the median coming from Albion in the center leading up to the unbroken lines at the intersection need to be adjusted along the unbroken lines to the right side coming from Albion, just look at it, CHECK it
Very good, that's improvement! However, they may go ahead and have the opening sermonic before the road is complete anyways just like they did on the superhighways in the west! But I hope they, put a good maintaining crew on this main road because it doesn't look good on the sides especially in the drains and all that sand and gravels on it! That could cause windshield cracking! Anyways if they take care of all those little things it will smooth sailing!!! 🌎🛣🎥🟩🟨⬛
yeah bro we love the progress and all but watch the green Bush dem a cross pan di green light, Bushing road is least of maintenance for the roadways but look even in Albion the drains already filled with Bush, and even the person who lives right at the road side in Albion uno just maintain di yaad front dont wait for government because that is the front if you all home you guys don't have a back yaad
That light at Grants Pen will most likely be sensor control for traffic. There is very limited traffic exiting Grants Pen, therefore, it would not make sense using a timer controlled light to stop traffic when there is no need. A button signal will then be used for pedestrians to send signal to the lights to "stop" traffic in a timely manner for them to cross. I think the Road Safety Unit needs to do a sensitisation programme in the community to educate citizens on the use of the stop button at the stoplight.
in developed countries there are sensors to detect a vehicle's presence.This is to facilitate smooth flowing and less delay especially at nights and in some critical areas. If Grant's Pen has this feature then we are up to the time! I noticed you had to wait longer than usual plus reverse before the light changed. So it could be a sensor or timer issue. Gradually all these features will be in place and fully functional. My earlier post did not highlight this feature so I apologise!
I think what happened is that he moved out of the sensor field to get closer to the main road, thus the sensor would automatically signalled that he had gone through already, hence he had to reverse to be detected. They need to put a stop line coming out of Grants Pen where vehicles should stop safely to be detected by sensor. If that is not done, drivers will tend to stop at edge of highway and increase the risks of accidents.
When I was coming out from Grants Pen the light went green then I stop for awhile and never went through them i went back to red. It was'nt changing until I reverse and go over a special section then green comes on. I think there is a sensor when ever you drive on it the light detect you then it change.
The govrrment should put driving limits on all roads in jamaicA like some places , 30, or 70, if dont obay they got fines, too much accident, and ovettaking round corners, too much Much buy licence back door, thats why they have so much traffic incidents
I dont like that stop light design for a highway, it should be a un going ramp instead, i can see a disaster waiting to happen with this design. People should never have to cross a main highway, never.
If everyone obeys the traffic signals there should be no problem, but of course we are talking about somewhere motorists assumes the highway s are a grand prix racing track.
