Truee, I used to get a lot of assist when I'm playing her, now I can easily get kill due to her first skill which constantly trigger sky piercer...recently I got 17 kill lol
After wishing lantern released almost all my burst magic heroes build are change from glowing *wand + lightning truncheon* to *glowing wand + wishing* , bcuz it'll easier trigger the passive. Even without full pen flat stat(shoe + genius), tank and thicc enemy won't get near XD. *Wishing lantern* work well even on *one shot combo* hero but even better on continuous dmg type heroes.
@@jaydinbruh310I agree it's overrated but it's not as bad as you make it. From what I've seen, the best time to build it is after your first core item, but I agree for some burst heroes sky piecer is not actually that strong because they need more core items to actually do amazing dmg
that was my exact same reaction to "wishing lantern". I was thinking including it in almost all of my magic builds until I saw that you can only take advantage of it if the enemy has a lot of tanky heroes. Comparing it to DHS leaves you a underwhelming experience

Honestly they shouldn't have made a magic item to begin with. There are only two magic def items for the game and those two have different purposes except both are terrible at managing magic dmg
@@andywizard6102 Yes it's my first item with Harley. It's also a great item against pesky mm users with lifeline as their shield would be reduced to half when I engage them.
@@andywizard6102 cause the condition to trigger glowing wand its SO much easier compared to Wishing lantern. Does not matter if the enemy is tanky or not that item is still good for additional dmg
Thunderbelt on Belerick is so broken. Since it gives HP, that's a boost for Bele already, but the fact that it gives INFINITE armor and magic armor allows Belerick to run more HP instead of focusing on "general" items like Athena and what not, add in the fact that Twilight Armor is broken on this hero because of his passive working so well with the item's passive, you basically get a item that MELTS marksmen and still live with like 60% HP comfortably. And there's also the fact that his s2 skill now hits like a TRUCK, like lategame when I get 30 stacks, I deal 10% of a full damage build squishy, JUST FROM A SKILL 2. He's fucking insane right now.

It's good for skill with long cd ultimate and short cd skill since I use it for Silvana now, even if her skill get interrupt I can use her second skill faster
The new item Sky piercer, is crazy on Julian, i used it as my second Item during my matches with him because Genius wand is my first and GOD DAMN its so good and securing and finishing off players, my build is more of a poke that can oneshot the more squishy players, now with this i Could possibly one shot heroes like Valir who like to build atleast 2 defensive items, it helped me get a savage aswell : )
I tried Layla with malefic gun, it was so fun to use. make sure to hit them to increase range of your basic attack and move around while your hitting basic attacks. But I think u should prioritize core items on Layla before you build malefic gun for your 5th/last item. After that update, I'm starting to like Layla now because of the new malefic gun. I've never lost a single match after that update. Betosky, try this item. It's so fun kiting around.
Thought the same. The wishing item thingy might be better for burst types actually 🥹 since it deals current hp damage and it procs every 800 magic damage dealt, which as we know burst type mages deal tons of damage especially with pen
Thunderbelt is crazy on heroes that easily get close easily. It also gives a actual decent damage boost to tanks. I've been using it on Uranus to easily farm stacks in laneing phase and gives a Uranus a decent burst damage combo to deal about 1/3 of squishy hero hp. I tried it on minotaur but people seem to be much more afraid of him so people kept their distance more causing me to get less stacks than I did with Uranus.
The new War Axe and BLA combo honestly made me reconsider going back to playing Balmond like crazy, He used to be my old main but because of most of the players in the meta kind of counter him, i mean melissa ult makes him useless, Lesly is fast enough to poke and just skin through his HP, and he doesn't contribute much to team fights other than being a meat shield which can only happen if he is built properly, he is not a big fan of late game either, once in the late game he's kind of useless depending on the enemy comp or build because they can just burst him down before he even gets to get near enough for his second skill, WA, Queens wings, Twilight Armor, Blade Armor, and also Sky piercer might help him in the late game (Sky Piercer if you are able to end the game as early as possible because its unique passive increases the chance of you killing someone and healing with his ult) But the new Twilight Armor and War Axe maybe Queens wings if you already have enough defense and want dmg reduction along with extra healing could help him into the meta as now that Twilight armor has no CD he has a better late game, same as tanks and other fighters against high burst dmg hero's which I BELIEVE is the main reason he's not that well used and other fighters like Cici might not even need to use vengeance with Twilight and Blade armor, Balmond and every other fighter in and out of the meta can really shine with the new defensive Items, Phoveus with the new COD will pop off with the right enemy Comp, but Balmond is now able to have a better late and early which is what i care for the most

Beto i started using Baxia Jungle and Roam, it's a great tank against this Healing Meta and Tanks meta.... Plus he's got a nice buff with the new itema, you should try it! 💖🖤
Thanks for explaining the new items and emblems! I wonder if Aldous can benefit from malefic gun for the increased range after landing his ult. Because enemies usually run away from him and when they have blink or dash skill, it's hard to chase.
Dude they really are out here to get tanks...... Though i appreciate the twighligh armor, thunderbelt clock of destiny changes also i was so happy when winter crown was in advanced server as popol can use it and my dismay when it interupts popol summoning also temporal reign nerf as i felt like it wasnt as useful anymore it was so good on popol before as i can spam 2nd skill and tank damage but i barely feel it at all... Queens wings im glad was still good.... Sky piecer seem op rigth now but i think in the future when people is used to it i migth realize its weak but the changes seem cool also there are alot of changes that makes me want to try and now lost a lot XD
Sky piercer is very worth it in my opinion especially on saber you can snowball in the early game but still keep it at late game because of the stack same goes with Eudora
As for part on queen wings:not all for hero for those who have lifesteal since its attributes is spell vamp actually but still can benefit because the unique passive when hp below 40% we got 30% DR also another passive defiant [AKA old unbending will talent] when low hp [probably 40% ig] we got 15% damage [adaptive] EDIT:as for wishin lantern it similar with DHS but no aspd that could explain why 10% current hp
That's what were my thoughts on the malefic gun. It's not worth the spot. You can fight with the limited range u have and purchase better item for damage or sustain.
I accidentally clicked Hayabusa instead of Gatot when I was supposed to be the roamer. So I built him with fleeting time and sky piercer and just spammed the ult to assist the team. Ended up winning lol.
I may of found a stupidly op tank that uses three of the new items being clock of destiny, thunder belt, and glowing wand. That is Exp Hylos or roamer Hylos. I found better on exp as you want to get your first two items as soon as possible being in this order Clock of Destiny then Thunder Belt. The Clock is first as it literally the perfect item for Hylos no matter how you put it with him having use for everything it gives. Thunder Belt works stupidly well on him because of speed up enhanced basic atk allowing easy gap close, aoe slow with no CD to prolong how long you can hit them, and ultimate aoe slow and spd up and heal allowing you to just skip past the Frontline and into backline. You deal surprisely a lot of damage for a tank due to thunder Belt and magic scaling from the two magic items. Now you may say radiant armor counters this but in reality only for substain heroes 1v1 and even then Thunder Belt/enhanced atk/ concussive blast does enough damage for assassin, mm, and mages to finish them off. Hylos is easily back into the meta with these new items.

Thunder belt's passive is only every 4 second. So in a minute youd get 15 stacks if managed to convince the enemy to stand still. This too only works with basic attacks not skills. Tanks have sluggish basic attack speed and even if you go nuts with speed items there's still that 4 sec gap CD. You also need to pause in between else it doesn't stack(hit wait 4 sec). While its a much improved item over its previous gen, it requires some risk factors(trying to sneek in basic attacks) and prolonged match to reach its true strength. Also its passive is halved for mages and mm so dont be tempted unless you feeling like you'd have control over the end game.
I Think sky piercer for Lesley is a bit unbalanced right now, Cause Usually it takes 3-4 items for Lesley to do much (she usually lacks the damage to finish heroes off) but when you build sky piercer as a 2nd item after berserker fury then the berserker fury is enough to shred most of the hp of the enemy with the passive and the ultimate + sky piercer is more than enough to finish them completely, Giving her a huge early game spike which she never got before. I first made it into a build myself not long after the items came out, It seems to be doing decently especially in her weak stages of the early game when I tried multiple games. Do try it out!
You have to try ling roam beto. He's not the hero that people would consider going roam, but ling roam is crazy good against a squishy composition. Build him with quantum charge for talent, roam cdr dire hit, dragon spear, berserker, sky piercer, fleeting time and another item like endless battle or blade of despair or even a def item. For spell just pick execute, there's really no better option. This way ling can one hit every squishy hero with 50% hp or less and use ult to escape. 40% cdr and fleeting time will let him get ult in no time. And as long as enemy team doesn't have split pusher like zilong, argus, sun,... then ling can solo split push both side lane to disrupt enemies. Ling roam is very fun to use and very effective against certain composition. I've tried ling roam many times this season and I can say for certain that he can turn the tide if played right.
Brother, ling is either the worst hero or the best hero in the game, depending of how good the user is. I don't believe promoting a hard character to be played in an even harder role is a good idea.
I think Harith benifits from CoD and war cry. But he needs to get CD items to get unlimited dash during ultimate before building CoD. But it sure helps him sustain better on the battle field. Thunder belt would be good on him too, but sacrificing any core items for them both isn't good. Maybe I'll experinent more about this and see which combination works better. Edit : Never mind, Thunder Belt passive is halved for mages. But CoD is still a viable option.
hey you should do one thing. you can watch other peoples game play, and give your advise on what he should have done on certain situation. i believe alot of people would like that kind of video and it will teach us alot beacuse we probably do the same mistakes
Guinevere can also use Winter Crown to become invincible during her ult. Quite useful for lategame base diving as right now she's pretty bad in that scenario.
I can't play my favourite Heroes Fredrinn and Hylos because a key part of their gameplay is managing HP, and Sky Piercer is making that extremely difficult, especially for Fredrinn
Sky Piercer is OP!! Not only is it super cheap, but also acts like a free execute. I would def buy this as first item. Heroes who will will benefit from this: Marksman: Lesley, Layla, Brody and Clint Assassin: Saber, Aamon, Natalia etc Mage: Eudhora, Cyclops etc. Sky Piercer on Eudhora and Lesley is such a broken combo.
Thunderbelt on Goldlaners is not a good idea though. Because the additional hybrid defense effect is halved for marksmen and mages, so they can't be tanky.
Some people might think sky piercer is op but it isn't really only if you want to get strong in the Earl gameand if you're really confident in getting snowball early game then you should build it but i know mooton will nerf this item someday and increase it's attributes
jawhead and hylos cant trigger war cry very well since if your skills hit more than once it will only trigger 1 war cry stack so you need some basic attack on those 2 a better hero to use it will be fighters like freya or aulus
Hero recommendation for fleeting time is only Atlas and Haya? What about Argus, Ling, Tigreal, Franco, Irrithel, Ixia, Minsutther? These are only some heros in can think of for a short comment. The list goes on.
