Adam and Staci, I've seen how often blessings flow when people are generous. Dumpster diving mama of 2 has been finding tons of food, and people are donating even more things for the charities she supports. It's great to see the same thing happening with you guys!

The destruction makes me sick!! I am so happy y'all were able to save all that you could. At least our local stores donate to food banks now instead of throwing it in the dumpsters. Love all!!

@@curbsidejunkies The stores only need to run a black marker pen across the UPC barcode. They destroy the stock because they don't want anyone to resell, or return for credit. This destruction is the policy of the company. At least, they left the dressing bottles alone. If they don't want dumpster divers to pick up the ship, they shoulld give them to the employees or customers, free.

You filling up a food pantry is such a blessing. For some families it’s sad to say but this could be the only food some families have access to . It’s means the difference of feeding their babies or putting them to bed hungry. Please keep doing what you guys do.

It's so sad they make the food unusable when all they have to do is put a black marker across the bar code. This will eliminate anyone trying to return unpaid items. It's a win-win!

These stores or employees make me crazy! There aren't enough workers so why do they spend the time doing that?! And like you said, so many people need the help during these times. I admire y'all for all the time and effort you put in to searching in the weather and conditions, checking to see if things are sabotaged. And then sharing it with others. Then more crazy people spend time giving y'all a hard time. Wow! That blessing box give was incredible!

And you know, some of these employees must spend absolutely hours destroying the stuff. It still amazes me truly.. we get what we can and we're thankful for that though. It's just part of it unfortunately.

I'm not mad at you. I'm not perfect and I admit that I can be a real jerk sometimes. But, I acknowledge that fact and I do my best to be a better person than I was yesterday. And it shows, in my opinion. I used to hate myself. Now, I kind of admire me. Still room for improvement but elevator person that I used to be.

That ICE drink is really good, it's water with fruit, I buy them all the time their $ 1.25 to 2.00 and a case is over $10.00.It's not like that sparkling water yuck. Good dive

You think it's cold there..try 35 below in Manitoba, Canada. Try wearing warmer clothes such as a toque or hat gloves,warm socks and long warm pants with a good warm jacket. Layer these so you can remove them if you overheat

My local stores destroy rather than donate for liabiltiy reasons. Insurance thing - just in case somebody sues. And they use compacting dumpsters for food. Sucks, but that's litigious society for you.

Great findings Adam & Stacey , can't believe they took the time to cut all that up, especially on hourly wages . wth!! There must be divers that are leaving a mess or leaving hoods and gates open for them to do this, too bad cause they ruin it for other divers. Thanks for sharing, stay safe and warm. Gonna be -47C here with the Windchill tonight.. Good of you guys to fill the BLESSING PANTRY, it sure was empty but not when you were done with it ha ha. I'm so glad to finally see someone making use of stuff thrown away by grocery stores. A lot of the produce is still good and the eggs and so on, most divers turn up their noses at this stuff and it goes to waste. I would salvage a lot of it, if it were available in my area, but I'm 75 miles away from a large town. Way to go, Adam and Stacy!!!

Great haul. Yes..we do see things that you pass by or miss! But at the end of the day..awesome. just a suggestion, you might wanna save time by taking your totes inside the bins. That saves small trips and you get to rummage more thoroughly😊❤ Cheers!

The destruction is an agreement with the distributors. To get reimbursed for the item. They're supposed to destroy it. Where it is unusable. It is not cost efficient to send it back to the manufacturer. So they have devised this way of taking it off the shelves, and out of the marketplace. Where the distributors aren't losing money to other sales. And the stores can be reimbursed. It is not people being vengeful. It is very wasteful though. I wish they could agree to send it to a food warehouse that fills food banks.

They all seem to want just keep on cutting lol 😂 it’s really a shame that they have got on a cutting spree. It is such a freaking waste ! It is so mean. Better to go to someone than no one. Hey guys there is a place you can go on where people are amputees and they love to get donations of odd shoes. If you have a place close to where you live that makes artificial limbs they would love to have those shoes. Just a thought.

Stacey, How many K Cups do you use to put into a filter for a 12- cup pot of coffee??? I accidentally bought some, thinking that they were the coffee bags (ie like teabags, but with coffee in them instead)--- And I'm not sure how many K cups make a full pot! 😳😳😳😳😳

I've written Aldi's and told them how I feel about what's put in the dumpsters. I also told them that dumpster divers are different kinds of folks. You have the homeless who are just hungry. You have the people who want to save money and dumpster diving supplements their food. When they have more than they can eat, they donate it to food kitchens or church food pantries. Whether they acknowledge it I don't know. Haven't heard back as of yet. I'm rooting for yawl Staci and Adam.

I don't know if you're going to fix the truck, but my husband has been working on vehicles most of his life. He is a bit mentally challenged, but he gets the job done. He looks it up on Google how to replace what needs to be done on Google. Then he'll watch the video , and gets it done. He even has people call him for advice that runs a dealership in our town. If he don't know the answer right away , let him sleep on it , and he'll know by morning.
