I don't mind the AI text to speech reading the story. However this story reads like it was AI generated itself.

Just have things that are off and don't make sense even in first 2 minutes. If you want a team of soldiers that coordinate and work well together you never get one from each nation and throw them together, you get a team that actually spent years working together as a single unit. And stun grenades are both blinding light and defening sound, the damage to your inner ear is what causes uncontrollable disorientation and is 90% of the grenade's purpose.

We are the unwilling masters of war, the agents of chaos, and bringers of death. A peaceful race (not harmless) only becomes so after learning the horrors of battle and war and seeks to be better. Coming from such a competitively lethal homeworld, we never forget the lessons of war, and pray only to never need them again.

So how did the humans win this time? They sent humans who were used to fighting other humans.

Neat story, but I think that the story had been better because of an intense suspense if the story didn't introduce the soldiers and had ended with: - Who are you? - Gurkhas!

When going over the injuries, "...five had some kind of member fracture.." ...member?🍆 I have... concerns... about how some of the aliens died.

This feels like a rough first draft of “Predators”. Before Adrien Brody and Laurence Fishburne agreed to sign on, they had to kill off more than one human in the script and Topher Grace was contractually obligated to die.

Great story!

Humans have teeth that aren't all that good for biting, no claws worth speaking of, no fur or scales for protection. Humans are literally weaker than primates of even vaguely similar size & weight simply because of the way tendons and joints and muscles match up. Humans cannot run fast, nor jump high, proportionately. Yet Humans are the most deadly animals on Earth. We are pursuit predators with uncanny toolmaking abilities, reasoning abilities, plus extensive stamina, sweating, and throwing physiology that can outclass any other creature on our world. The "marathon guy" didn't die because he "just" ran 26 miles/40km, by the way. He died after running HUNDREDS OF KILOMETERS, nearly 200 miles, AND FOUGHT IN BATTLE before running those last 40km, and he did so in *only* 3 days, racing up & down hills over rugged terrain on crappy paths and game trails, with NO support systems other than what little he could carry or find along the way in terms of food & water, no comfy bed to sleep in at night, just racing by himself across several city-states, PLUS FIGHTING IN BATTLE, did we mention that part? Did we mention IT WAS SUMMER...? Burning Mediterranean heat, no gatorade available, limited water, dude ran AND fought. Humans aren't fast, aren't strong, aren't toothed or clawed in dangerous ways, let alone naturally armored...yet we are still the top tier predator on this world, bar none.

The aliens did not understand that human hate and hold a grudge like no other creature in nature. And we are masters of the most vicious kinds of warfare.

This sounds almost identical to another story i listened to on here or another channel like this. Some slight variations to the setting but similar enough that if i was the author of it i'd claim plagiarism. The grammar and syntax mistakes makes my anus pucker, lol.
