@@nyorito5208 I'm Dutch and I had to look it up... Brutaal (brute-ahl) is rude, but it's not the right translation in this context. I would say gemeen (ge-main, hard G) is more apt. It translated to 'mean'.

Back a little before covid started up me and my dnd group did a sort of aladdin setting run but everything was opposite or twisted in a sense like the sultan was the bad guy and our ally on the inside was the Prince and the great sorcerer Jaclose, and id never considered others had probably thought of this joke too but anyways thanks for making me remember all that keep up the great work.

For those curious like me, the literal translation of rude in Dutch is "brutaal." But a word more fitting might be "onbeleefd," which means the following: rude, impolite, discourteous, uncivil, unmannerly. I'm not Dutch, I just used google translate and tried to get the proper meaning across. Anyone who does speak Dutch, please be kind to my genuine curiosity.

Yes, i more likely say "onbeleefd" then "brutaal", in fact i don't hear a lot of friends or family saying "brutaal". I don't think that "brutaal" is used to often in a matter of speaking but i could be completely wrong.

Brutaal is what you'd use for a bratty child. Onbeleefd is mainly impolite, more commonly used for rude in adult speech
