6:33- Penn Auto Glass music is SO reminiscent of the Carpenters' "Top of the World"

I remember the Penn Auto glass ad from 6:32; used to see it often as a kid.

Nice break! Looks like someone nearly forgot to put on the Jasco Tile slide, with a blank projector image! I didn't know books were available at Flower Time (lol) I remember the second generation 2XL from the 90s that played regular TAPES and wasn't an exercise instructor either that is a riot! I remember that very last health PSA on WPIX back in the day! It was on all the time! The McDonalds ad (with the non-cadmium induced glasses LOL) suggest this was from May '80.

Cool to see the shortened SMMs in a context of breaks; nice job

P.S. - In the 1950's, when Channel 4 was WRCA, they aired "The Noose Hangs High" - of course, that was one of the films aired on Channel 11 after the 1970's. As was their last film together, "Dance with Me Henry," which in the '60's was had by WOR. That station also had "Jack and the Beanstalk" and "Abbott & Costello Meet Captain Kidd" in the '60's; by the next decade both were on WCBS - which also had "Lost in a Harem" and "Rio Rita."

@heine71 - It was an Abbott & Costello movie, released in 1945 (a few months prior to "The Naughty Nineties" film that contained the entire "Who's on First" routine). It co-starred Peggy Ryan, Martha O'Driscoll, Lon Chaney, Jr. and Joe Kirk.

@heine71 - Prior to most A&C movies all gathering together at WPIX beginning in 1971 and continuing up to 1973, A&C films were shown on the following stations: WOR, WABC ("Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein" in the 1960's), WNBC (four films - "Hold That Ghost," "Hit the Ice," "In Society" and "Buck Privates Come Home" - from 1965-70; they were the first A&C's WPIX got) and WCBS (the 1949-55 U-I's). By 1980, WNEW had the MGM-released "Abbott & Costello in Hollywood."

I've been trying to remember the name of this cartoon short that use to come on WPIX every week day morning & afternoon. It was about 15 minutes long per episode & it was about a group of little kids & 2 or 3 talking animals. They taught valuable lessons like self worth & good eating habits, usually through song. I do remember lyrics to 2 of the songs they'd sing. One was "I'm the only me as far as I can see" & the other was "there are good things to taste today". I hope someone can help me. Thank you in advance!

I'm looking REALLY hard for any part of that Meineke ad campaign at 2:30 - the comical ad campaign from about 1979-80, with the made-up "satisfied customers" - and this is the first one I've ever found. Please let me know if you run into any others, because I've been trying to find one of them forever. Do you think your friend might have any others?
