Both have plastic gears out of the box so about the same. I like my c24s but the 82 I hate to say is better than the c24 out of the . So if you are thinking of buying one get both they are both cheap on AliExpress at 😁
The c24 has more upgrade options although the upgrades for the MN 82 are growing. But honestly the MN82 just performes better out of the box although it doesn't have quite as much flex as the c24 it's still a good performer and the electronics and steering are just better.

I'm my opinion out of the box yes no bump steer no full lock binding no cutting out and even with a 270 motor it has tourqe on standard electrics the suspension is in my opinion more durable but has slightly less flex . Just generally better out of the box but the esc isn't waterproof that I'm aware of so I've only driven in very shallow water. Upgraded they use a lot of the same upgrade parts so than it's more down to what you like the look of . But at this moment in time upgrades are out and coming out for the mn82 . But wpl is definitely better supported although the MN is plenty good left alone. The MN 128 , 82 and 78 all are good out of the box with decent esc,s but the rest of the MN range plan on upgrading the electrics
