It's quite possible that sonic nerf is just around the corner. I tested both at lvl 1(on max lvl Kraken) in low CL and surprisingly both did well, sonics probably better. But when lvl 1 weapon can do good, you know nerf is inevitable. If ice rockets get some kind of buff, they might become better. I'd wait for a bit tbh, although atm sonics obviously rock. Cheers!
They have differences. Close range (100m) veyron. Long range (250-300) argon. But you have to understand that we are in a rook meta, and the argon bypasses rook shield so its very 50/50.
Fairly certain it’s still an Evora/Veyron meta. I use a Evora/Veyron Rook and it beats out Oxy/Argon builds on other rooks. The trick is to break open your shields when engaging in combat against those weapons and since the rockets don’t really do that much damage you’ll only lose like 400-500k hp against maxed Oxy/Argon if you were jumped by the enemy Rook. If you are attacking, it’s a near guaranteed win due to the suppression effect from the Castling ability. I think Rook’s main problem is that its survivability is too high as a result of the shields, and having to run Orion battleship + Gravity Amplifier to truly counter it feels excessive for balancing reasons. I believe the shield hp and healing per destroyed shield needs like a 20% nerf to both for starters and perhaps a 15% dmg buff to Oxy/Argon since the dps is just too low for titan weapons considering the massive reload.
Idk I have been having a lot of success with the argon on the test server. They seem to do far better against rooks especially with that crazy ammo capacity.
I believe that the freeze rockets are marketed as some sort of anti-rook weapon because you can just turn yourself around when fired on by sonic weapons, puls good burst because the rook can fly away and heal up if you don't insta-kill it.
The Argon weapon are kinda underpowered in my opinion, for pros they have good burst damage, they have pretty large clip and bypasses physical shields so it can counter Rooks and Arthurs, these weapons only had one big cons is the reload time being ungodly long Great work as usual man, love these comparison videos
@@thenthtinkerer7635True, but the selling point of these weapons is that their bursts are supposed to do ungodly amounts of damage, so the reloaded rockets don’t really amount to much in regards to the strategy that these weapons are supposed to use.
@@Fiiiiishyo when ur luchador sonic runs out of clips and start reloading, it will just get shredded within 8 sec if it didn't one clip the other titan 🤡
One thing the RU-vidrs can do is like make it to where no one can see your name since it's like always in the top left ear screen just like hide that part of your screen and then you don't have to change your name anymore after you change it after you do that
I fail to understand the logic of asking for less reload time when you can ask for more damage per hit instead, especially for reload-while-firing weapons like Argon. Nerf the Veyron 20%, buff the Argon/Oxy 20%. This seems pretty straightforward.
Argon and Oxy for fighting Rook, Sonic for fighting other enemies. A skillful Rook can get 0 damage when he is attacked by sonic weapon. He just needs to turn his screen and let every piece of shield get damage equably.
It's no coincidence that after videos like this are made nerfs are applied... pixonic monitors videos like this closely not that they don't have the data already... They want to nerf these weapons anyway and everyone crying moaning and whining does not help...
Veyron and evora should have 200 meters max distance like robot ones, 30% less damage and 30% less fire rate to be not overpowered (Robot sonics are pretty op after the buff but 200 meters range makes them ok)
