brisant still packs a punch, and my pick would depend on the build. hammer benefits a lot from numbers being able to apply blast more, brisant would be my choice if you use it by itself.

How you manage that? They slow down target with each hit. Plus, it is not like they are super range. Peak effective range is at 350 meters. Ideal range to hit 90 % of your shots for any shotgun

I used to run Brisants on my second Curie. About a week after I levelled them up they nerfed them. The main benefit of running them was the damage output which was a trade off because they fire so slowly. Now it's not really worth running them because there's better options available. I switched to Cryptic Redeemers which work great anyway. I've never really used Hammers much. I ran them a couple of times but I prefer weapons where you don't have to be at point blank range to get the full effect. Which was one of the reasons I levelled up Brisants in the first place!

I also believe that redeemers are now a better option to go with, also taking into consideration mothership charge rate.

The same thing happened to me, I got some brisant for my curie, I realized that mostly because of the lag, the reedemers work better

Well, both are viable options. One has perfect levels of damage in close range and the other has a bit more ideal firing range. 25% damage nerf is a bummer but it was needed. These changes is what I want to see from tier 4. Perfect representation of giving options. You can say that they are basically the same weapons in terms of damage output. So yeah, pick the one closest to you and no matter what you pick, you should perform well with that build

I know this vid is the showcasing of the Brisant ( after the neutering ) & the hammer being a side by side comparison .. Even so a mostly free 2 play gamer myself ( although I broke my own rule the other day & just HAD 2 HAVE 2 CRYPTIC REEDERMERS both MK2 .) I only have 1 so I wanted to have a quad set of them lol jeez well , it's not exactly noticeable to me that the Brisant lost some of its knockdown power .. I've never played them even in the Test Server. However your vid showed me that even tho there the latest victim of the last Nerfing The Brisant is still quite good .. That being said , I've a couple of them I haven't even touched .. One was a straight up Data Pad gift ( lol ) & the Other was a component build up to its completion.. Honestly Aygir ; I was just going to let them sit idly in my weapons storage Till I would revisit them after a build I got going completed in a coupla weeks .. That brings me to the Lynx .. Yep there no longer the all powerful stealthy kill ya dead Utilizing the Executioners ability Robot Honestly I hated them Fer quite awhile .. Not having one lol However , through the magic of times passing & Pixo being generous I find myself with 4 of them .. & I use them all in all of 4 Hangars .. One has the cryptic Redeemers The next has Blast Shotguns The next has Baihu Stake's 5:31 The last has Devastators All are low leveled @ MK1 levl 10 .. & I'm still going to get each to MK2 ( The Bots ) & the weapons up to MK3 one @ a time .. I can hardly believe how much I've ascended in the Leagues since .. I was @ Expert league III Now I'm In Master League II & about to cross over into ML I that's amazing how One Robot albeit 4 times can change a players league standing .. Well Sir I appreciate your videos & this one as well .. Made me rethink where I was going to place my resources into my next project build .. Gonna axe the build & finish up all the Aforementioned weapons 1st Then I'll think about which Bot gets the resources.. Have a good Day/ Nite my friend 👋👍🙏

Hi Aygir, i play on Steam, it's not possible to change the daily clan tasks/missions same as other platforms. as the result now only some impossible tasks are there for long time and unable to complete them. when you chat with pixonic can you please bring up this suggestion so we can change 2 task per day? i chatted with in-game support but no action was taken. thanks a lot.

I always smoke those hammer Lynx with my Brisant+Cestus. Those damn hammers are just noise, no punch. I am waiting for my second Brisant, still 4000 components away.

I used to think Brisant and its lighter versions shot only 1 single projectile which then _became_ several projectiles at 250m, dividing the damage among them. It seemed to me like that was supposed to be the novelty of these weapons, and later seeing Ochokochi's resistance pilot felt like extra confirmation (since that pilot basically grants 1 defense point for each 1 projectile that hits the robot, so you would want to deal the most damage with the least projectiles). Not too long ago I realized this wasn't the case, so their description is arguably a bit misleading... which isn't new in this game anyway. High expectations from Pixonic aside, it seems the 600m range increase that was promised isn't even active yet! How fun, just like when they nerfed the auto-aim lasers. Either the devs are lazy (or "short on time" let's say) or their bosses tell them to do this deliberately. Would be cool if they honestly announced which of the two it is. Btw if you ever feel like doing just 1 trolling game video, try 2 Deceivers + Ancile on Noir Shenlou please. I'm sure we can all get a nice laugh (and some may even cry) from that.

I choose Hammer bc it can deal with titans better bc of the blastcharge which bust clean through all types of defenses and i like the firing mechanics of Hammer. I also thing Hammer looks alot cooler

Really sucks that both are horrible when it comes to battleship meter, i wish if the meter was filled by the amount of damage you deal not whatever the hell the current system is

I definitely agree on "whatever the hell", it's not even clarified anywhere within the game. But even if it were, a system based solely on beacons, kills, assists, and damage (preferably based on % of enemy's HP bar rather than, say, every 20k damage) would probably be better.

Brisant is slow. Hammer is better in battle. Trust me I tried. Before u empty its ammo, ur HP will be dropped to half. But Brisant is good in FFA.
