the good old corruption vs purity fight. but in tis case corruption wins. wasp really has a long reload, and in my opinion makes the weapon not that much versatile, even tho has high damage output. but considering that shields and drones are everywhere, skadi would be better since it has almost no reload.

3:17 the target was using a drone and got healed 50% 3 times for wasp , first time I saw this in your tests aygir

Yeah, pretty sure he intentionally put them to show the down sides of wasps. Long reload and those energy shields make them pretty bad against robots with drones

@@thearthur9801 waspa was actually faster to kill, but wasps had a drone heal 3 times, while skadi had zero healing So you are wrong

@@SOMA-WR Well, I'm not exactly wrong. Wasps have enough dps to trigger the drone chips ( 150k damage within 5 seconds ). Skadis can't deal that much burst damage, so the drone chips didn't trigger.

@@thearthur9801 that's why it's not a good test , how it's fair to use drone healing for a weapon but the other doesn't, either both not , I said wrong because you mentioned energy shields and reload which is not related at all

@@SOMA-WR Well I guess that's kinda true because in a real match people will be using nuclear amplifiers and overdrives and probably dealing 150k damage in 5 seconds easily. But I guess this was just a plain test showing the pros and cons of both..

Skadi because it can bypass energy shields and has a shorter reload then the wasp and fires for a longer time but wasp can inflict a lot of corrosion which can do a lot of damage to tanks depending on the situation wasps could be better but overall i think skadi is better

Corrosion bypasses all types of damage reduction

Wasp corrosion bypasses anything with defense and the corrosion does insane dmg to any tank like fenrir

Looking at this they both have there pros and cons but in the current time skadi is alot better than the wasp but the wasp can be affective for instance against tanks with the corrosion but on the other hand having a long reload, unlike skadi with low reload time and high damage

Dear Aygir if you're seeing this, a mistake has been detected. The test is unfair from 2:59. The invader might be deployed with a drone or maybe a bug just showed up. Can you check? The health significantly rises up automatically

Overall I like Wasp more, but there are a lot of Energy Shields these days and Wasp is not very good at destroying these shields, plus its long reload time is not very good, but the Wasp is a good weapon anyway.

If not for the fact that at 3:08 the arachnid, on the leech's side of the screen, kept restoring its health the leech would've finished first.

Before anyone complain about Wasp reload times, look how they can take 50% of a Nodens health with just one clip. Even waiting 12 seconds, they're still among my favorite weapons.

Yeah, probably gonna reduce the speed of the orochi and the flying speed of the fafnir. And a damage and maybe an effect accumulation speed nerp for the skadi family, and possibly a reload or ammo nerf.

Skadi is not that OP, just Wasp is a bit underpowered with that extreme reload

Not really, skadis and the entire family of those are OP. Applying drone microchip effects almost instantly, they can lock, freeze and suppress enemies and deal a ton of damage at 600m. These weapons need a nerf ASAP. And wasps are pretty balanced, not overpowered or underpowered. Maybe something like a 10 second reload would be cool but the weapon as it is, is honestly great on something like a typhon, maybe mixed with 2 pulsars.

@The Arthur snaer, skadi and hel doesn't need a nerf in damage or reload time wise. they're balanced but the effect accumulation could be a little lower. the only thing that makes them "overpowered" is if you combine them with drone microchips

@@serakull_main Well, they nerfed shredders because of the high accumulation speed. They were balanced and good for many years and just after they introduced drones, they got nerfed to the point they're almost totally useless. They literally almost doubled the reload and decreased the damage. How's that fair?. Pretty sure they're gonna do the same with skadis, at least I hope they do so that all the meta fafnirs that kill my entire hangar with no skill learn a lesson

@The Arthur haha i'm f2p and have an mk2 4 fafnir with manni pilot, t4 road hog, t4 mechanic, t3 increased pulsar damage and i forgot the 4th skill, lv 6 last stand, lv 6 nuclear amplifier, and lv 1 anticontrol and 4 mk3 pulsars . in master II - I leagues this thing kills literally everything, including other fafnirs when im shooting with all 4 pulsars and theyre flying. but against mk3 fafnirs with all the resistance drones? its a struggle, this setup is kind of weak in champion league, ive been in and out of champ league and yes the skadi fafnirs are so annoying, they may be flying and im walking but they still die slower than me
