If you think about it, them having each one a fast lap is almost necessary to a triple tie. If that weren't the case, you would need certain combinations of ties between the nine lap times to make the triple tie, which is a lot more difficult. For example, with the first runner having the fastest first lap and the other two tying the second and third laps.

I think baby Rosalina has slightly worse mini-turbo stats, so it would have made a worse run

There is still improvment to be made for track 3 but sadly, at 1:17 you cant go faster since you wont get the turbo

Both baby Peach and Daisy have the same stats. Its just a coincidence 2 use Daisy and one Peach. It is personal preference
