Jerry, the wrap is done by a company called Racepaint, who do this sort of thing professionally on vehicles, boats, etc. Not exactly sure on the process but I'm pretty sure they don't have to sand anything down. The vinyl wrap bonds with the polyethylene nicely.
beautiful design on the wrap. my question is, is the bottom of the kayak wrapped as well? if so, is there any damage to the wrap from scraping the floor?
So, do u have any partners here in the US, or anybody u know that do pro work on these kayaks. ???? I am interested in buying one, in order to customize, I favor paying somebody rather than DIY
It shows a Hobie but can you do that for a perception pilot 12 ft. I want a way to protect the underside of my kayak and vinyl wrap came to mind. Will it leave anything behind if removed?
