Welcome to the La Coronella Farm Timelapse. Today is our first day on the farm and we have a lot of work ahead of us. Our corn is ripe for silage harvest. First, let's upgrade our tractor and increase its power. We spent most of our budget on this and other equipment we rent. We attach the forage harvester LACOTEC with a KEMPER cutterbar to the front of our tractor. And from the back we attach a Poettinger Impress 200VCPro baler with a bunker. We attach a bale stacker to our second tractor. So our first tractor mows and chops the corn, loads the chaff into the hopper of the baler and wraps the bales in film, while the second tractor picks up the bales and takes them to the temporary storage place while the fermentation process takes place.
