Hey man! I just started to wrestle in my sophomore year and I gotta say I have been watching your diet tip videos cuz I'm not that good at it lol. And your beginners guide video and they help me SO much. And keep up the amazing work!!
I got to wait untill november 18 then I can start wrestling again I'm so excited I'ma try to send some clips of my friends and me becuz ik we can definitely improve a lot with more critique from different people edit: yk it's a good day when your drinking your protein shake after working out and cayden posts a wraslin review for you to enjoy
your legs are the strongest part of your body. get good at throwing legs and controlling the opponent's hips. don't be afraid to be unconventional i hated locking with the opponent and stay on your toes being flat footed is slow and less conducive to quick changes in movement. I wrestled for 14 years and judo for 13.
I'm from England and we don't have any wrestling coaches nearby. I wrestle and do MT and Jits. I'm very new to wrestling and wondered. Is it on to stand with my left foot forward, like I do?
If you want to get good in that amount of time you are going to need to wrestle all year round, or be a natural beast. Don't get discouraged because you'll probably lose a lot by kids that have been wrestling their whole lives'. Don't be afraid of failure, try new things even if you can't get them right away. Be prepared to feel like your entire body is drained of energy while your lungs are on fire; at this point if you can dig deep and continue to fight through it you'll know what you're made of and you'll win a lot of matches.
You're gonna get your ass kicked almost the whole first year. Stick with it its worth it. Find what moves work good for you, watch your match footage, and go to wrestling camps outside your school to get new perspectives. Good luck!
One more week till my season starts and I'm so Pumped 💪 I also am trying to convince a tiawan exchange student to join, he likes the idea but is worried about his mental game as well as his physical strength. Any advice for him, or encouragement, his name is Joey.
I hope this gets to you and I hope you answer I have three questions 1. how many years have you been in college. 2. what did you do to get to college wrestling. 3. did you place at state in junior high
