The beggining of the end for Peugeot. They botched the winning formula by changing vital parts on the 206 which made it a completely different car in some parameters and aborted development on the car mid season when it was still a mess in order to develop the bucket that was the 307. No wonder Panizzi left for Mitsubishi the year after. Another case of Corrado Provera being a hardheaded clown. Im pretty sure if they kept it as it was in 2002 they'd still be good even tho the other teams developed new cars.
