That onboard internal camera is perfect! It lets you see exactly what Mikko is doing and the road! Great view to see the action from! Absoutely loving it!
Very nice onboard! It has wide, fast flowing roads, and some narrow, more technical parts. The view of the steering wheel and the gear shifter is also nice! :)
Thanks @juhaket @heases @JaniJanification. Mikko is amazing and he should have been champion a long time ago if it weren't for Loeb. I think both he and Loeb are legends.
Its big difference considering it with 2.0 litre engines. Check 2010 onboard from Finland and compare it with this... Anyway its great onboard. Waiting for more !
@raveracer02 Ford, actually, has very few officially-sponsored teams. The two main series where they have a sponsored team and car are NASCAR and WRC, with some minor sponsorships in the NHRA and Grand Am. All other Ford-based racing cars are sponsored by individual teams that just happened to want a Ford car, like the Matech-sponsored Ford GT GT1 in Le Mans. I will agree that this run was beautiful. Gotta love Finland and Hirvonen.
@deggis4 I see what you're saying, but I can see the road perfectly fine. The camera is at about driver-eye level and it looks to be pretty close to him so it's almost like seeing what Hirvonen sees, and it shows his wheel inputs very nicely which is why I think it's perfect, but to each his own.
@UltimateWheelman If my comment was confusing - I like this view and I think it should be used always (but also could be positioned little bit higher). I was just saying why I think this view is not used more often: the average viewer (not us!) probably just wants to see the road and thus the hood/A-pilar cameras are the norm which is a shame. Even this video consists mostly of the hood cam...
@UltimateWheelman If it was just a bit higher, so you could see the road better. I know the cameras can't be placed just anywhere inside the car, but clearly this is the most interesting view and I just don't get it is not used more often (or by default). I guess the production team caters also for the average tv viewer who I think just wants to see the road.
Anti cut devices, they are used to prevent drivers from cutting or 'clipping' corners. You'll see them more in Tarmac rallies as they are there to try and prevent drivers from cutting or clipping, which brings mud and other loose stuff onto the road.
@youreallthesame Red-white you means? Thats the line between road where rallycars drive and where spectators sit/stand.. Same thing in orange colour is in someone field(Like in place at Surkee where someone spectators sleeps.. And sorry my bad english, i hope you understand all what you needs :)
Its incredible to see what Mikko can do without pressure. He had nothing to loose here and he did amazing. But this is the main difference between Loeb and the rest of the bunch, pressure makes Loeb faster .
@ck12345678910111213 The biggest rival for Mikko in 2009 was Jari Matti.... :-( if only he hasn´t crashed in Poland Mikko would be champion right now...
