Finns are not only the best rally drivers but as well as best spectators. I had some experience when guys asked me to hide in the trees when the car is approaching so the driver cannot see beforehand the way the corner goes after the crest by seeing standing spectator line along the road. They are leaving drivers totally to rely on their own pacenotes. If a car crashes they are already running for rescue (like in this video) before even the car stops rolling. So yes. Help comes in no time 😂 WRC is only the tip of the iceberg of Finnish rally. You have to come to some of the local Finnish championship events. It is something else and you will understand why there is so much passion in this sport.
I think partially reason for that is mandatory conscription service were men (and women) are trained to work and fight as a group. In that group of spectators, there are likely to be many soldiers and officers who have completed military service in the past.

Miten voi ajolinjat mennä noin pieleen? Pari autoa hyppäsi kirjaimellisesti suoraan ojaan. Muistankohan nyt ihan väärin, että jopa vanhemman sukupolven WRC-autoilla nuo hypyt on tultu paljon keskemmällä tietä, eikä ojan reunalla kun auto irtoaa hypystä?
