Wreath laying ceremony at De La Ronde Ruins 

The De La Ronde Plantation played a significant role in the Battle of New Orleans in 1812. It served as a field hospital and headquarters for the British troops. Each year during the Battle of New Orleans anniversary, the Daughters of the British Empire and the Denis de La Ronde Preservation Corporation host a remembrance ceremony at the site.
