I have two books I bought from Lee Valley that were printed in the early 20th century and late 19 th century that detail this exact process. Hardly anyone knows , let alone does it like this, anymore. I am impressed. If you look at the continuity of the curves in a century home compared to the new homes, you dont see the abrupt changes in geometry. Nice video. Do you have one on carving the volute?
