Great job guys! Running myself a ST765 converted to Daytona in Italy, is awesome to see you achieve such great results in MA! Keep it up, love the content!!!
Good job Brian! Curious tho, on why you chose to run the stock Showa forks on the Street Triple. Are there any rules against putting the Daytona Ohlins on your racebike? It's a direct bolt-on, and if you combine it with Attack triple clamps to increase the trail, should be a nice upgrade over the Showa forks. The Daytona TTX could be made to fit the ST765 also with some minor modifications, but it will increase your ride height in the rear by 15mm. I had a MotoAmerica Ohlins tech measure the geometry of the bike, and he got me a decent enough setting. Good luck on your next race!
Running mostly stock parts was part of the original idea of Wreckers To Checkers. Building a bike on the cheapest budget possible and racing MotoAmerica. At one point we were running stock rear sets. The forks actually aren't even the same color haha. This year the cheap theme is kind of out of the window as we have been making upgrades in some places. It's a slow process without a ton of sponsors. We would also have to check the homologation list for what suspension parts are allowed and not allowed. Thanks for watching and for the well wishes!
The people talking have no clue what they're talking about, so Josh drowns them out with loud music. The soundtrack for the next round will be all Slayer.
