The plaintiff rented a room to the defendant and claims she trashed the apartment and burned a hole in her futon, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant asserts she never damaged the apartment and insists the plaintiff is just a liar.
Thank you! I was looking for this comment. Everyone is talking shite about one or the other... they're BOTH unhinged. Something was slightly humorous about the defendant, but I think because she is young and I hope she matures. The plaintiff is something else.
@@KPbouj Right?! She threw that “wh%re” word around real easy, on something she made up in her head about the defendant. That was a messy but entertaining case. Feel for the kid & the dog.
It is, but it's hard to prove in court. My friend's ex called CPS on her all the time because he was trying to get custody, but she couldn't prove it was him because it was "anonymous"
I completely agree it happened to me before and they had a 10 year record of it but the people that came the caseworker said there was absolutely no truth to what was being told to them which I knew it was simply just revenge just people being cruel
Yep. Some commenter said it could be they're away on business, or visiting family somewhere. Don't know whether to laugh or cry at how naive and/or stupid some people are.
he wasn't supposed to be in the house at all. the lease she had her agree to said no men in the house. Yet the defendant kept breaking that time and time again in just a short week.
Yes she loves the drama. Calling someone a whore is bound to start a fight. I'm mad the judge didn't call her out for that but went hard for her being called a white lady 🙄. She is white tf sont they ask for a description
he wasn't even supposed to be there, the lease specificially said no men. Which is a thing women who are victims of DV and SA do, yet the defendant broke that stipulation on the daily starting day 1.
@@dragames right but breaking your lease in one way or another is a civil matter. putting your hands on somebody in hopes they put their hands on you back so you have “evidence” for court is criminal. she assaulted him first in order to pretend to be a victim of assault by him. that’s insane 😭
I have had 2 separate friends ask if they can move into my house with my son and I in the last month. I very nicely said I'm sorry but no. One of them is very annoyed with me. I would have preferred she hadn't asked, and I wouldn't have had to say no. But I'm with you, don't want anyone renting a room in my house.
The plaintiff doesn't have clean hands in all of this. She was just as aggressive as the defendant and her brother. The ruling was correct...although some of the evidence appears staged.
The landlord is trying to play victim when she called his sister a whore several times and tried to tell him he should help care for his nephew to provoke them. She’s a nasty vindictive person herself. She thinks she’s inferior because she’s a stripper
What else would you call someone who sluts around?????? The defendant is renting from her and he has no authority to stay there because he is not on the lease..... don't defend her
But she didn't touch him first, he slapped at the phone first,(which IS in fact, assault) then advanced on her. She raised her hand up 2 block his advance and he shoved her... Seems like so many of you in the comments see what you want 2 see...If someone just smacked your phone out of your hand and then advanced on YOU, are you REALLY saying that you wouldn't put your hands up 2 defend YOURSELF??? C'mon....That is BULLSHIT!
The defendant should’ve counter sued for punitive damages because lady called CPS on her. How dare the plaintiff be judgmental calling the woman a whore when her husband is locked up.
You don't believe that child is at risk having a mother like that who not only moves in with strangers, but then creates the scenario to cause strife by not only refusing to PAY the rent, but bringing in people that was outside the agreed contract?
@@LeeoGoneWild not really. What if she worked over night at a warehouse, would it make any difference? Honestly if the plaintiff didn’t say anything about her being a stripper we wouldn’t have known.
I believe that the plaintiff was a conniving & scandalous individual but I do believe that the defendant did tell the plaintiff that she was a Dancer, Stripper & Escort because to make such an unsubstantiated statement would clearly leave the plaintiff open to a Libal Suit in a Civil Court & the plaintiff, from what I've seen in this court proceeding,, is not that stupid.
@@AP-uo7sp Yes, there certainly is a difference between being a stripper & a prostitute & I don't think that the plaintiff, whom I'm sure is no stranger to the law, would have made such a reckless accusation had she not been able to substantiate it for fear of being sued by the defendant in a Civil Court for libel. I also don't believe that any woman would smile/giggle, as the defendant did after having such a disrespectful & demeaning statement made about them.
No, that part wasn't the lie, even the brother in the video says "so what" which solidifies they both know she is. plus, when the defendant says she doesn't have paystubs for her other job, that's because it's illicit. In otherwords, she was hookin.
It's heartbreaking hearing the baby crying in the background of the videos the plaintiff used for evidence. Adults need to stop having arguments in front of children, period. It's extremely traumatizing.
That plaintiff is crazy! Antagonizing complete strangers is dangerous. She seemed to reveal in it. Her mouth was reckless. They could have exed her out in her own home. All over dogs & cigarettes. Smh!
Plaintiff is definitely an instigator. She has no business saying all that mess to her brother, or about the nephew. So what if he wants to be there for his nephew? How is that a bad thing? But if she asked him to leave he should’ve just left to avoid drama. Even if she’s wrong for trying to start something; which you can’t convince me wasn’t the goal when she’s filming it.
It's bad because the plaintiff's rent requirement was no men. This is common for women who require roommates who were victims of DV or SA. By that, the defendant had 0 right to give her key to another man.
The plaintiff is doing what white women do and start ish then act like they are the victims! Had she called my sister a whore she would have been taken out in a stretcher but its amazing how the judge chastise the black girl for calling the white woman a white woman but is silent when the white woman called her a prostitute and a whore .. I didnt realize that calling a white woman a white woman is now racist but hey society is working hard for white people to feel like a victim .
The brother showed more restraint than a lot of people would've been able to her with her screaming and throwing a fit like that saying all that about his sister
@@mollyscot1563No no go back and watch 13:24-13:34 even the judge says it clear as day your hands are on his NECK and he PUSHED you off of him have some accountability
@@namjoonssexybrain1679 He hit her phone and got up to her, she had her hand out, then he hit her again. He had 0 right. He actually had 0 right to be in there when the contract with the person who set them both up told her that there was to be NO MEN in the house, and her brother is *gasp* a man.
@@dragames Your confuse or being emotional. Yes they have no right to be in her space. BUT yes he had the right to shove her because she held his neck. Imagine a dude grabbing a lady neck. Do you expect her to let it happen. No. She touched him first. You can't hit someone and not expect not to be hit. There's a reason why the cops and judge didn't side with that lady for so called getting touched. If someone was choking you, you will not do nothing. You will push them away.
That lady DEFINITELY damaged her own futon. She seem like the type. From she can be spiteful and lie to have that lady's child taken away, she can be spiteful and lie about a damaged futon.
My mom is mentally ill. She had a lady renting a room once. My mom stabbed furniture and walls with a butcher knife, then was convinced her renter did it. One of the scariest thing i dealt with. This plaintiff is unhinged and crazy. She was screaming and instigating a fight so he would hit her and she could claim it was all their fault. On the flip side, the renter had NO BUSINESS moving a man into the house when she signed a lease stating no men. So theyre both wrong!!! Everyone is the problem.
The world has always been like this. The only difference between "Today & Yester Year" is that we now have videos showing/memorializing such events & the worst is yet to come. LOL
@dessean1 No it is worse. People take pride in their bad behaviour. When I grew up you were ashamed to disrespect and abuse people and get into trouble. People have no shame and it's ALL about ME.😢
Some people will damage their own property to go to court and get the person they are mad at to pay for it if you don’t have real proof I don’t think that’s fair
Hi. To be fair, I’m glad people rented to my mom when I was a baby. She was an attentive mother and is great tenant, always left the place better than she found it. Landlords are ALWAYS sad when she says she’s moving. There are many good mothers out there who are young and single. Okay, well, take care & wish you & everyone well & all the best!
Goddamn so many morons here. She had the defendant agree to the lease (yet signed late) to not bringing any men around. This is the type of thing women who are victims of DV and SA do. Which means likely her husband was arrested for DV, and the plaintiff probably suffers PTSD from it and wants no men around, and here we are with the defendant and her trashy ass brother breaking that and refusing to leave, and not only that, hits the plaintiff twice.
And what does the plaintiff comes off as?. I'm pretty sure the video recordings show what a nasty and immature person she was. Slaughter the girl, calling her out of her name and grabbing her brother by the NECK. Quit with the double standards.
She disrespecting that man's sister the way she was doing, can't say had I been in his position, I would not have done the same thing, she was wrong for that!
@@magicworld3242 But here's the thing, it's her house, he was never given permission to enter, and repeatedly asked to leave. By all rights, if a stranger walked into your house and refuse to leave, you can legally hit them if you feel threatened; it's the Castle Doctorine. If he would've left when he was ordered to, he wouldn't have gotten slapped.
Yeah I agree, she should have never called his sister a whore, that's so disrespectful, & then she tried turning the heat onto the siblings relationship when she kept saying he wasn't the father of the child, his sister was taking advantage of him since he was the one taking care of the baby at night, and it wasn't his place to do so. To me, he seemed like a solid guy who loves his nephew. He just was the one who got put in the middle.
@@Fribee83 , But here's the thing. He didn't break into her house. He was there visiting his sister. Just because someone is in your house, doesn't give you permission to assault them. The cops saw the video and that's why, he didn't get arrested. The cops knew, they would have to arrest her too.
The defendant is not blameless at all but that plaintiff is BONKERS. I 100% believe she burned the futon herself and put that butt print there are on her own.
The defendant thinks that she can put on this sweet little voice and pretend to be all innocent when everyone can see straight past it. But the plaintiff is beyond a piece of work. The pillow, the video, she’s an instigator. I would never want to rent a place from her.
@@imartinistexactlyyy, I keep seeing that comment but how she was talking on the video to the police was the exact same. Too many inconsistencies with the plaintiff and I don’t understand how people make an oath and still lie in court lol
@@imartinist of course she used her sweet voice on the cops . i want to hear her real ghetto voice , like how she talks to people on the streets where she is hookin .
I'm not condoning the behavior of the defendants but the plaintiff seems to be a very awkward woman. She's acting like the defendants are such horrible people and she herself is a saint who does no wrong. But it's pretty obvious the plaintiff has just as much personal problems and the husband she speaks of is obviously in jail.
I love how the plaintiff acts so scared of the defendant and playing the victim but in the video she has her hand around the brothers neck and calling his sister out of her name, but you allowed her to move into your home (because your psychotic *SS needed the money) smh weirdo!!!
I love how blind you are. The brother wasn't supposed to be there 100%. Was told to leave and he didn't. He would be legally, a trespasser. Second, he hit her first, she put her hand out, and then he hit her again. The first hit, the phone falls to the floor. Second is after she has her hand to push him back after HE rushed up to her, not the other way around. The problem starts with plaintiff's broker who set them both up without disclosing the defendant's occupation and further the defendant refusing to obey any of the rules.
Something I have learned in my 42 years of being a landlord.....every time you 'help someone out' that needs a break it is very expensive for you the landlord. The reason they are in the pickle they are in is 95% of the time their own irresponsibility then it becomes your problem once they move in.
Tbh no one in this situation has clean hands. The plaintiff was a piece of shit and wanted to trigger the defendant and the defendant was in her emotions. They both need to get help. Only one I feel bad for is the baby.
Idk why the judge is mad about her calling the police to come before she beat the plantiff’s ass. At least she took the right course of action 🤷🏾♀️ if she had beat the plaintiff then it would be another story
The plaintif being so evil and aggresive WHEN SHE WAS RECORDING tells me she is completely unhinged. The defendant really needs to check herself and GROW THE F UP for her and that poor baby.
Both are crazy but the plaintiff over stepped her boundaries when it came to the baby and she definitely hit the brother so he had a right to shove her back.
@@inukoko2012 I agree with they're all crazy. Just noting he assaulted her first. None of what she said as shitty as it was is illegal, she was baiting him tho
@@inukoko2012 oh yeah, she provoked him and he took the bait. He assaulted her in her home after she withdrew his invitation. Sounds like she was shooting for grounds for restraining order against them to kick them out easier then evicting them. Prime example of why words shouldn't provoke a physical reaction
I don’t why she ignored the part about the plaintiff dragging the defendant calling her a whore and prostitute and calling her brother dirty and yelling in his face to provoke him. And then she acted blind when she saw the video and ignored the fact that the plaintiff grabbed the brother by the neck. If the brother didn’t point it out to her she would’ve let it slide.
Biases are with you all. JM is just often wrong / overlooks many things. It has impacted white people, black people, men, women, Asian people… But the only time it’s “bias” in comments is when it’s a black person. I think they both have a crazy streak 😂 Also, if the defendant admits to she actually did why would she lie about anything? But she still cray cray...just like the plaintiff.
Why didn't the defendant & her brother just get their own place if he's going to be with the baby at night? Had she explained that ahead of time it probably wouldn't have gotten so crazy between them. Both ladies seem a little out there, but in completely different ways, lol!
The defendants brother is the only normal one out of the three. The plaintiff is terrible liar. The way she setup the brother was despicable. The stripper is cute.
How the fuck is the brother normal? He hit her twice, he refused to leave when he had no right to be there in the first place especially since the lease said "no men in the house" the fact he had KEYS is fucking insane past the initial point and definitely a violation of landlord/roommate rights. You're not allowed to make keys without the landlords permission.

@@tabwab83 exactly! Then, she tried to come off as innocent and a victim but the way she was talking in that recording.... I was like oh, she was TRYING to rile them up so she could get a negative reaction on video. If she was talking to the girl like that, no wonder she was telling the police "I don't want to have to beat this lady up." 🤣🤣🤣 I would never say no mess like that, but it had to be about more than the money at that time. On the other hand, the way the brother was saying "you're saying WE don't live here and all of OUR stuff is here... the homeowner was frustrated and they definitely overstayed their welcome at that point. She only signed up for 1 roommate.
People please stop accepting the excuse of single mom as a reason to get scammed. You didn't make the child, it is not your problem. Adult need to take care of their children.
She threatened to cut and beat the defendant's @ss. BOTH of them are crazy asf, both were lying and telling half truths. But it's one thing to be in a tit with each other and it's another to call CPS to try and get their child taken away. That is a sign of pure calculated evil.
look at this more 'based on what truth there is'. We know she had the defendant sign a lease that says "No men in the house" (which btw, the defendant agreed to yet never actually obeyed) We know her husband is 'away' which is code for in prison. Women who do the 'no men in the house' for roommates are generally victims of DV or SA which means likely her husband is guilty of DV and she has PTSD from it. So her being upset that everyday the defendant has her brother over when he's not supposed to be there at all, then you tack on that she COPIED her keys so he can come and go as HE pleases... it was the defendants setting the plaintiff up with their entitlement. Oh, and yeah she's a hooker, she can say she isn't, but her response showed she was lying. She wasn't offended by the accusations and she then admitted that she had to tell the person who set them up together that "I don't get all my money recorded on my paystubs" which means, she's a hooker. Or a drug dealer. The brother even says "So what" when the plaintiff in the video starts going on how dangerous it is being an escort, he doesn't say "She's not an escort". he says "so what" so both plaintiff and defendant's brother basically proved she was a hooker. Given this alone, CPS should most definitely have been called in. The defendant is not taking care of her kid, and definitely being a street walker has its risks with bringing dangerous people back. And we don't even see just how she is with the kid. Maybe when she's there she's great and doting, but everything else she does is not good for taking care of a child.
The defendants brother was absolutely right for defending his sister. This whole case was bonkers. Why did the plaintiff agree to this? She wanted the drama!
The plaintiff was also out of line. She clearly turned a blind eye to some things as a matter of convenience. Stripper $$ pays the rent just like butcher $$. It is probably when the defendant pushed her luck that the plaintiff snapped like Joan Crawford in Mommie Dearest. Definitely some displaced anger. And the husband is, "away?" like in out in the garden pushing up daisies?
