Two great legends! RIP Scott Hall and Bobby The Brain!!! Even though The Brain passed away years ago, I miss his commentary with Gorilla Moonson. Greatest Heel Manager ever!!!!
Don't be sad. This man is a class act and if he wanted us to feel sorry for him he wouldn't make appearances like this in his condition. And no matter what's happened to him, you can tell he's the same Bobby "The Brain" Heenan by the way he acts and the way he has everyone around him laughing. He is a true champion and i couldn't be more proud of him for still doing what he does for the business.
Many people share that they are sad for Bobby. Yes in the sense that he lost his voice because of cancer. But he has a positive attitude and seems to enjoy all the boys coming around. Remember he was a character in the entertainment field. He is still a human being that should be commended for beating the odds and not being ashamed to be in public. Looks are deceiving.
Sad to see The Brain in that condition. The greatest manager of all time and the work him and Gorilla Monsoon did together was also the greatest ever. Those 2 set a bar that nobody will ever touch. RIP to both of them. It was an honor to grow up watching them.
Gotta love him blowing his nose into the Monsoon shirt. Those two were comedy gold. Sad to see him like this, but it's uplifting at the same time to see he hasn't lost his sense of humor. One of the all time greats.
God bless Bobby and Scott. Especially, what Bobby went through my god he was a fighter. I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer 2yrs ago. So i know what that fight is all about. It obviously wins in the end. But that doesn't mean you stop fighting and living the best you can until god calls you. And Bobby did just that. I hope your resting peacefully now Bobby. You were truly one of a kind that can NEVER be replaced.
It's so heartbreaking to see Bobby Heenan this way now. He truly is a very incredibly brilliant man which proves why he's referred to as "The Brain". I'll never forget watching WWF Prime Time Wrestling back in around 1991 and 1992 when they moved into their new studio with people present and they would play a game with Bobby called "Pick The Brain". People in the audience would get selected to ask him random questions and he was always prompt to give them an immediate response every time! He truly was a despised manager back in the day since he accompanied all the bad guys in wrestling, but that's what made his character so legendary in addition to his uncommonly amazing intelligence! I love you very much Bobby Heenan! You are a wrestling icon and you always will be The Brain! ~Dutch
soo sad to see bobby like this.. Such a legend, I don't care that he was one of the most hated guys in WWF, but he is brilliant, just think of the list of guys he managed.
This is so sad to see him like this I'm already crying right now seeing this. this is one of most favorite Mangers it's just so sad to see him like this
Breaks my heart to see Bobby like this. I wish he could talk. My favorite manager and commentator of all time. Such a legend. Always had the best sense of humor. You can tell it's still there but...damn. :(
Bobby was such a legend! As a kid I never recognized it but watching his old videos now I see it. There hasn’t been one and I mean one announcer or manager to even come close to having the wit, comedic talent, and ability to bring “heat” like the brain. I just got diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks ago (in my back bone) and to see him keeping his spirit and sense of humor in this video really is an inspiration. Rip bobby the brain.
Great to see the genuine affection the wrestlers have for Bobby. It's rare for someone to have a legitimate claim to be the best manager and best co-commentator in the business, but that's how talented Heenan was!
cant help but cry when watching this , it breaks my heart tremendously to see Bobby like this :( . I love Bobby , he will always be my all time my favorite manager in wrestling and my all time favorite broadcaster in wrestling to .
The greatest manager EVER…they’ll never be another Bobby The Brain Heenan…he’s the reason I became a wrestling manager…a huge inspiration…R.I.P Bobby..you were the Best
You can tell he's truly loved by his peers! Great to see The Brain being the light of the party. Keep fighting Bobby! You made wrestling so great when I was growing up. God bless you!
It´s still a shock to see Bobby like this, but hey as long he´s here and goes to this conventions, the fans will get used to it and love him despite his cancer illness. I pray for Bobby and hope he´s around for more years!
I would be incredibly honored to meet Bobby Heenan. One of the greatest entertainers ever. I am sad that he lost his voice and had to have most of his jaw removed, but I am happy that he seems to be very much enjoying life and staying positive!! He inspired me as a kid with how larger than life he was on screen, and how great of an entertainer he was. He inspires me now by staying positive even with all he's been through. He's an amazing man.
After getting over the initial shock of this I re-watched it and he is still the same funny guy he just can't get the words out as easy. Checking out Jeff Jarret's wife's jewelry lol If Bobby can keep his spirits up so can I. He's not dead guys. Hopefully he can enjoy his remaining years with no more cancer
completely embarrassing that small market wrestling companies are still trying to use his name. The guys 80 years old. He obviously has cancer or some other disease that has made him lose 100 pounds. And they're still wheeling him out.... Seriously. The guy weighs 80 pounds. It's shocking he's still jobbing for new brands
As heartbreaking as it is to see Bobby in this condition in his final years, he still had everyone around him laughing. He never lost his wit or sense of humor. You can see the love and respect all the wrestlers had for Bobby.
omg this is so sad, when you look old heenan videos and now this. It reminds me of my grandma. She was a big lady and friendly lady and after cancer she looks smaller and smaller:(
Crazy. I met Bobby at Wrestlecon 2013 in and 2014 and he was great both times. Seeing his interaction in this video with the other wrestlers was amazing to see. RIP Bobby!
Bobby Heenan was such a funny and quick witted person on TV. I am so glad I had a chance to see such a great comic, wrestler, manager and "Host" hehehehe ....on Priime Time next to Gorilla Monsoon. Both Bobby & Gorilla in heaven. May God Bless the souls of these good men!
I was at wrestlecon, i looked at my friend and said dude look at bobby man...i shed a tear cause thats my favorite manager/commentator and they would never be the same. I just wish for one day that God can help bobby become his oldself. And show michael cole what a real commentator can do.
Very sad to see Bobby this way! Get out there and live people. For tomorrow is not promised. Love Bobby Heenan forever. Glad to see him alive all the same
Bobby didn’t deserve to have to suffer like this. I fucking hate that he was robbed of his twilight years by goddamn cancer. Cancer has taken so many good people from the world way too damn soon. Rest In Peace, Bobby The Brain. You were THE BEST. ❤️
Sad too see Bobby look the way he does. But its great too see him keeping busy doing appearances at shows/interacting with fans, etc. Would love too meet him sometime
Good lord I had no idea he was even like this. I'm so glad he's remaining in good spirits though. The legend is still alive, and I hope he has many years ahead of him yet
oh man! bobby! first time ive seen footage actual video as long as this. can he speak? can you understand him?? i wish ic ould understand what scott was saying good work on the video!
He can speak, sorta. You have to pay attention but it's possible to understand him. Can't remember what he was saying to Scott at first, but he ends up telling his wife how much he loves him for helping him get over with Flair & Hennig at Survivor Series 92. He still has a hilarious sense of humor though!
haa im sorry i just cant help but laugh when one man gang's mother or wife says, "i couldnt bring him the other day becyuase his leg was swollen..." and bobby looking on,. bobby is great
like him hate him bobby heenan was one of the funniest and most talented man in the bussiness plain and simple the humor is over the top he has a style that i like and is much like me almost a mentor in some of the things and punch lines he would say and do not the brain for nothing and seeing him this way is sad the humor is still there always will as far as i can see but hes the shell of the man he was he deserves to be recognized not only for what he did in the ring but his bravery and strength for the battle hes in now
"In what has been called the first operation of its kind, an 83-year-old woman in the Netherlands has been fitted with a custom-made artificial jaw that was created by a 3D printer. The titanium implant, which weighs less than 4 ounces, was created by taking a CT scan of the woman’s lower jaw and duplicating it with a 3D printer that lays down titanium powder instead of ink. The printer followed the pattern of the woman’s jaw bone layer by layer, fusing the titanium powder in place with heat. In just a couple hours, the 3D replica was ready." I wonder if Bobby would be willing to take a chance and have an artificial jaw.
I feel terrible for Bobby. God bless Bobby's wife for taking care of him. What happened to Bobby Heenan's jaw, happened exactly to Roger Ebert after his cancer surgeries. Cancer does suck
P. S. I met him yes...but I remember him in the old tapes...the piles and piles of tapes/dvds that I have he will always be the brain from the 80's to me, but what a thrill it was shaking his hand at wrestlecon and giving him 3 or 4 HUGE thanks yous.
It's gutting, im not emotional in any way but i am choking back tears watching this, though i feel patronising for being that way as he seems in great jokster form as usual.
