this is a gator roll. a funk roll involves rolling under an opponents leg and splitting them in an attempt to (usually) finish out the back door. both moves are dangerous but especially the gator roll because if your opponent slips their head out they end up on top of you. i would not recommend it.
@@jessiefranklin9318 this was a cow catcher/cement mixer. A gator roll is a freestyle move where you have the arm pinched to the head and you both roll over your back. Its basically the same thing but you dont catch them on their back with a gator roll
@@jessiefranklin9318 ive always known the cement mixer to be hand on the chin or around the neck hand on the sternum and your other arm under theirs posted on their back. You roll and catch em or you just straight horse them to their back

Yes....and obviously you're a amateur as well as you'd understand that's ALL Ben Askren ever was as a Wrestler. An amateur...because professional Wrestling is not REAL Wrestling...or not the same as folkstyle or freestyle. I wouldn't get condescending to someone if you don't really know what you're talking about either. "Funk," isn't a move. It's a style. Like diving in on the ankle when someone gets in on your leg rather than just heavy hips.
@@Me-nr6gg Also...not considered one of the top 10 Wrestlers in NCAA History. MAYBE top 20. Not ahead of the undefeated Wrestlers...like Cael, Hodge, Koll or Uetake. Not ahead of guys winning gold Medals while in College like Snyder, Smith(John), Stevenson(who...again, an ACTUAL professional Wrestler). Not better than Stephan Abas who was JUUUUST barely behind Cael and in the same class and just voted as one of the 15 greatest. You should learn about him a bit. Maybe look into the Williams Brothers, Lou and Ed Banach. Mark Schultz. Oh, and the 4 timers, Dake, as mentioned Cael, Pat Smith. Mcllravy clearly...oh, and OBVIOUSLY Lee Kemp. Yeah, that was is clear. Guess what every single one of those wrestlers all have in common? THEY WERE AMATEUR WRESTLERS. Why? There is no REAL competitive professional Wrestling. Just some general advice...if you don't know what you're talking about...don't talk about that subject.

No it is not, and you can clearly tell one kid has maybe 5 matches his whole life while the other looks like he knows that and is just trying a risky move against someone that couldn’t stop a go behind
