These kids have the best possible instructor you could ever ask for. DC is absolutely perfect for this job

Having DC as a coach is something these kids prob won’t really understand how special it is until they are older… it’s like playing on A little league team coached by Mickey Mantel lol… also love how DC talks to them… kids born post 2k have a tendency to be treated like they live in a bubble… He talks to them the way coaches talked to kids back in the day… It’s ok to take criticism when you do wrong, it makes getting praised that much better when you do right… As always hats off to DC for being one of the most stand up guys in all of sports…

This takes me back to my high school wrestling days. Unfortunately I didn't discover wrestling earlier. The days of making weight and having a couple sandwiches with some nice, cold water after weigh-ins. And then onto the wrestling. It must be cool having DC as a coach. Good stuff DC. Put those kids on the right path and keep wrestling alive 👍

If you have kids and they’re at least 4 years old.. put them in wrestling right NOW. They will thank you later and you’ll have so much fun watching and supporting them! Only word of advice is don’t be the parent who spreads distrust about the coach. This will make your child resent you and impede their growth. Be positive and if you have to talk to the coach, do it in private or call them when they aren’t with the wrestlers.

Great video! I have been encouraging my 10 year-old son to give wrestling a chance, as he is strong through the thighs, hips, and shoulders. He loves to wrestle at home, but has been reluctant to train with a gym. I will show him this video later and maybe it will help pique his interest (and deter him from football, haha).

I wish this Wrestling culture was a thing in the UK - it's easier to get a kid into a Boxing gym than it is to even find a Wrestling one, but there's a much more competitive aspect to Wrestling that is so much more appealing than Boxing (for how safe it is, for how reliable it is as self-defence etc)
