The Miz discusses becoming champ, working with bret hart, his past hardships in the locker room, and much more. The first official and detailed interview as champ.
I kinda get teary eyed when I hear this interview! I can & im sure lots of people trying to break out into any kind of entertainment industry can totally relate to this guy! This guy has worked so hard to get where he is at. His words & story is very inspiring!
I respect the HELL outta the Miz, from everything hes been thru in the locker room to get to where he is, it takes a LOT of Focus, determination and character! Love this guy
I didn't really like The Miz, but now I see how dedicated he is, and how AWESOME he is, in and out of the ring. I'm glad he made it to the WWE title, and hope he becomes better and better, and earn more respect from the WWE Universe. Nowadays, I can see how hard-working he is. So, congratulations for you career, Miz. :)
This is the interview that change my mind about you Miz, I totally understand you and identify with you, I know what it is that your critics are not only the people in general, are also your family. And your right after all this time you must feel like...I DID IT, in your face...! I do identify with you man...GREAT INTERVIEW!!!
I hated The Miz, but eventually he became an unbelivable love-to-hate character from the WWE. I have seen the WWE from 2 years now and I have enjoied every Miz's matches. I loved this enterview because you can see the real Mike talking about The Miz and the struggle which everybody has to fight in life to get what you dream to get. It would be AWESOME to get to meet him, better yet, to be his friend. Great interview, I wish to see more...
How can someone hate the Miz?? He deserves it to be the Champ because he worked for everything he got!! And he is entertaining!! Even if ppl hate him, they know him!!
Honestly, Im happy for the guy. He started on a reality show actually being the Miz character. He later went on to work on the indies, and was actually was on tough enough season 4 and lost. He reall y has payed his dues. P.S. Rosenberg I got a great idea for a pro wrestling radio show
I have a lot of respect for The Miz he worked hard to get where he is today. I'm glad he proved everyone wrong and realized his dream of being wwe champion.
I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw that clip. Bryan was wrestling Japanese legends infront of sixty thousand people inside the Tokyo Dome. When it comes to pure wrestling abilities, the guy has done it all, and above "all". This shit aside, I have tremendous respect for the Miz (whatever that's worth lol) because of the shit he had to take and the rejections he had to suffer. Great guy.
The Miz is The only reason I still watch the WWE He had some many haters from the wwe universe and the locker room saying he wouldn't make it in the wwe, that he would never be a champion. Well guess what, he proved all of them and he won the united states championship,MITB and then became wwe champion he has accomplish so much in the wwe he deserves more than anyone else in the locker room.
This make me sad how the wrestlers treated him. I thought I'd never say this but...he's AWESOME. I use to hate this guy but now I have SOOO much respect for him.
Man, I feel sorry for him that he had to go through that. I always thought he was a great guy, but now, I see him as something different. Good for him.
The Miz has become one of the best talkers in the business, one of the most charismatic (in and out of the ring) and he does a load of public appearances. It's amazing to think how terrible everyone used to find him (and honestly, he did used to be pretty terrible. especially with that whole 'hoo-rah' schtick). But now look at him. WWE Champion, set to become a future Hall Of Famer. It's this blatant improvement he's made over the past few years that makes him so.. well.. AWWEESOOMMME!!
People need to respect miz...great guy, always up for interviews and all show No wonder he has the wwe title, he has more passion than john cena for the wwe if not equal.. im sure cena will let miz over at wm27
miz deserves it...since his days in 'tough enough' till now its been 10 long years, he is definitely better than john cena or batista at wrestling .. and He is awesome on the mic
i love this guys since the challenge real world vs road rules, this guy was like the rock of that show ( funny as fuck and a badass, maybe the best ever of that tv show) and he was always cutting promos before the elimination round and i always imagining what would be him on wwe... the irony is that he leave the show and now he is on we being buried and i wish that he never leaved the challenge
He isn't playing his character..He is his character this is actually him. And i know it can sometimes be annoying but still I love his character so it doesn't annoy me!
I fucking luv everythin about this guy. Definitely 1 of my role models. I talked 2 him both on TV (we were dissing Cena together, it was awesome ... he was awesome) & when cameras were OFF and he was always a class act, a professional, very funny & cool guy, just a WONDERFUL person. He cares about his fans, he really does. To everyone who thinks dat Cena cares the most about fans - BULLSHIT. Cena is a piece of shit who act like a nice guy when cams r ON. Miz is da real deal. The MAN. The FUTURE!
i luv the miz he's my 2nd fav suprstar in da wwe my first is randy orton so in da ladder money in da bank i waz happy if eather 1 of dem won den randy orton won da wwe champ title i waz so happy but wen miz won i waz a bit bummed but happy at da sme time but now i want him to retain da title for a couple of months so the ppl who h8 him start to lk nd respect him!!! soz tis is so long :D i luv The Miz nd he is Awesome!!!! :*
the miz deserves to be champion of the WWE is very good fighter I respect a lot said her parents believed that it will not achieve anything in the WWE champion and now look at him
I really want WWE to End this coming Year They can have The Sets Inside from WWE For IWE with There Same Entrence Videos on Titantrons We Need WWF Back this Coming Year right now.
You know what's sad? Be A Star, then you have wrestlers bullying this nigga. I didn't like him as WWE champ but he has a better look now I'd like to see him there again. But yeah you're right going throw that is respect.
I respect the Miz. Don't get me wrong i did hate him, and his background from reality was part of that, but hes a good worker, hes great on the microphone, has such a great heel character, maybe isn't the best face wrestler but you've gotta see it as when he turns heel again it will be great.
@Heavyweightchampionx Agreed, Miz is number three on the mic. right now. The only two others who are better are Chris Jericho and CM Punk. Jericho because heel or face he can get anyone behind him, and CM Punk, because if you watch his promo when he was in Chicago, he actually managed to get his own hometown to turn on him. also, The Miz has come on leaps and bounds in wrestling ability.
@fitzgerald434 I totally respect your opinion. Sadly the mic work is all that matters to WWE because thats what makes you marketable. Austin, Hogan, The Rock, Cena. None of them are/were the best technical wrestlers in the ring. Cena has 5 moves of doom, hogan had 2, Austin had 2 or 3, and the Rock had 4 or 5 as well. They could all talk though, and that is why I think Miz does deserve the title. He talks smack so well that people will pay to see him lose.
i don't give a shit about wrestling, but people hate on miz for the wrong reasons. he wasn't a dick on reality tv, he was actually humble and kept talking about wwe being his dream. i haven't heard about that lockerroom story so that was sad.
@whoo689 The only reason the miz or any other new wrestlers are'nt getting a chance to go to the heights of the wrestlers you named is because people like you can't let go of the past. Stone cold, HBK have gone people need to move with the times, the miz has what it takes to become legendary as he's young, got personality and what stone cold pointed out in him as the heart to not give up, dudes got it. I mean in all seriousness the rock was not much better in the ring than alot of of midcarders.
You know for people to hate the charecter the Miz is fine but to hate the real person is stupid this guy has loved wrestling his whole life worked hard to get to where he was wasnt handed shit and has gotten better since hes got there I mean Cena walked in and was a superstar within a year and everyone loved him but Miz is a much better wrestler i dont get it you dont have to like him but the guy deserves some respect!
Now will all you Miz haters give the man his respect, the guy is a WWE fan/wrestler who worked his ass off to the top, what more is there else to say?.
@loosey5 Because even though it's scripted the pain they feel in the ring is real. Don't fall into the whole "just because it's scripted it isn't real" mindset. It still takes skill to fall the way they do, do the moves so it doesn't hurt them or their opponents, and when you consider the injuries that Mick Foley, Terry Funk, Bret Hart, Flair, Hunter, and Shawn has had you would think twice about that mindset.
@tttwas yes but what i mean't was even though there was alot of talent, there was near enough the same amount of actual wrestling as there is now. Don't get me wrong I prefer the attiude era as you said it was edgier and had brilliant storylines.
He really deserves this championship and I'm glad he's proved everyone wrong. I can't believe how bad ppl were to him in the locker room though. That's so shitty =|. Either way, he's awesome and I love his passion for what he does and I hope he's champion for long :) ~Jade808~
the miz likes 2 stay in character in interviews he does the old school never break character thing wrestlers use 2 do watch him and john Morrison interviewed by tom green its classic tom green is a troll himself and caught on so he went along with it type "The Miz and John Morrison on Tom Greens House Tonight" into youtube search you will not regret it
When i first heard him tlk n saying im the WWE Champion like 200x's i was like stop gloating but after i heard that story i was like wow u have a reason I feel bad for The Miz
To be honest....this guy deserve's to be the WWE champion. People complain about that the nexus helped him in the match vs randy orton Honestly? he dominated the game and he deserved the win... Michle kole helped him, becaus jerry the a.ss hole loler is a broadcaster for God's sake and he got his chance while he was a wrestler and he didnt win anything.
