@@Dave_Outsidehowever, not only is that tax deductible as a business expense, but as the driver keeps 100% of the fare instead of 50 to 60% Uber scams off the top, a driver can recoup that $100 in one day's driving. Wridz is new to the Houston area. Now that I am on board with Wridz, I am letting all of my Uber passengers know about Wridz. It's just a matter of getting sufficient Wridz drivers and passengers becomes the dominant rideshare company.

Torsten, find another term for the word “GIG”! The word “GIG” has shit on its shoes, it stinks. “GIG” means being abused, insulted, cheated, robbed, manipulated, lied to, despised, badly paid, robbed, humiliated, ridiculed. The term has had its day. We need a collective term that the IC's can be proud of, plantantion terms like “GIG” are dishonorable and disgraceful.

This might be the next contender what Ford was to The Association of Licensed Automobile Manufacturers. Big industrial combinations and Eastern financial power. In this case it is big Silicon Valley, Tech Giants, and Financial Powers. I am rooting for Wridz, the contender from Texas and I believe they will be successful as long as they keep to what made Ford successful against ALAM and learn from history because this is pivotal moment in history we are in. May not seem like it, but 50 years down the line people will look back and will be amazed.

Minnesota and the rest of America need Indrive instead Wridz which is taking over South Florida. Indrive has all of funds unlike Wridz. Indrive motto is Drivers get pay more and passengers pay less. It's a win-win situation for drivers and passengers. Indrive gives most of the controls to the riders and drivers. Indrive is a far way better concept when it comes to ride-sharing.

Wridz is really bullshiting when it comes to expansion. They aren't putting enough energy into their marketing and advertising of their recruitment of drivers. For better competitions and reduce the monopoly of few companies it's better for ride share industry that more and more companies jump into this market then atleast poor drivers have some life too and get rid of this slavery style of working. I cannot believe it in this modern age still big corporations treat you as slave and suck your blood and pay you below average pay rate. I hope writz must start their business in Toronto so driver have more opportunities to work in healthy and competitive environment.

The only thing I’m worried about is that this new app is saying they will charge the driver a subscription fee. And then they charge an insurance fee and an airport fee from what the passenger is paying. So what’s left for the driver? The subscription fee should be enough to cover all the fees. There should be no other fees deducted from anything.

The passenger pays the insurance fee, credit card transaction fee, tolls, and airport fees. The driver keeps 100% of the fare and tips. The monthly subscription fee is $100 per month and is considered a business expense and thus tax deductible. As Uber takes about 50% in what the passenger pays and the driver gets the other 50%, on a good day with Wridz, the driver can recoup that $100. Many days driving for Uber, I make $100 a day (driving g part time) and Uber also makes $100. With Wridz, I'd make the full $200. Just need more drivers to sign up with Wridz to attract more riders.

This has nothing to do with the video but how is it that uber/lyft will offer a driver rides that a passenger is paying 5-600$ for a 12 hour ride and paying the driver 2-300$… how are fee’s so high that they profit over half of what the passenger pays? Lets not get too excited because we don't know how these new rideshare guys will be. Remember, Lyft and Uber, paid well in the beginning too, everyone is nice when they need people, but lets see how they pay in two years, five years, ten years. Our new insurance policy where they are taking insurance based on waiting times between rides and charging us more. Lyft punishes us does not give us rides if we cancel or do not want rides. This should be a lawsuit in California to charge us now

Not necessarily. As Wridz gets their funding from the monthly subscription fee and nothing else, Wridz will stay as a private company. Uber and Lyft being a public company must show a profit for their stock price to increase in value. Thus they have to screw someone over to make money and thus a profit. That someone is the driver. In Uber's latest SEC filing and stockholders briefing, Uber said they are increasing profits at the expense of the driver's pay. I do own Uber stocks. Only way ican make money from Uber. But I prefer driving for Wridz.

What’s actually taking a Lyft and Uber so long to get out? They’re probably waiting for their final bills from Medicaid and Medicare in the methadone clinics which they provide rise because they know they’ve been double billing in the state.
