I bought one of these things last year, in order to free up my time instead of mowing our 2.6 acres. Things were going great in the early days...Hal would mow the lawn, and then would go put himself away in the shed. But then he started talking to my wife! At first, innocent stuff like asking for a glass of water. This progressed to him flirting with her, and then long intense conversations. Before I knew it, he's in the house, parked in front of the TV, cleaning out his deck on my living room rug! Last straw was when my wife asked me to gather my stuff and go move into the shed! And that's where I'm now, typing this comment. :(
We're sorry you had a bad experience but read the fine print, sir. It clearly states that Greenzie is not responsible for any romantic relationships that may occur, either between you and your new best robotic worker, or between your wife and her new robot "friend who actually listens to me, like you never did, and besides is kinda cute when he lays down those perfect stripes, never calls in sick, and is available now at your local dealer." 😜
@@Greenzie You're right, I shoulda read the fine print! I always forget to do that, so it's on me. I saw my wife this morning, she was carrying the 5 gallon gas can into the house, to prepare Hal's breakfast. She dropped the news that they're now engaged, the wedding set for as soon as our divorce finalizes. I'm like, he's a mower! And she's like, "NO, he's a property maintenance PARTNER, Gene!"
About to let (CB WRIGHT) the Autonomous ZK roam around here in Mowssouri on one of our commercial properties. He’ll be done before I finish up with the trimming. And if I have any issues, Greenzie tech is always just a text away. 😎 💯 👍
This is the coolest mower ever. Would like to see a 36” intensity mower version in the future for those of us servicing smaller residential yards. Keep up the great work Wright mowers!!
@@Chris-bz9pg serious question: what price would it have to be to justify using it only a few times? $200 extra dollars a month? $0? Genuinely want to know.
@@Chris-bz9pg sorry just throwing out a number. You said it’s too expensive. What would be a total all in price you’d pay to have a robotic worker doing part of the job?
I would like to see the same controls applied to a 20 foot wide right-of-way mower to use at airports, power line and highway applications. Use the spike wheels all around the bat wing type folding deck similar to the ones that the Swiss company Aebi uses for steep slopes and mow places that farm tractor/bat-wing mowers cannot go.
I would like to see an option to record a full path on your own, like the Tennant autonomous floor sweepers. Their vision eye sensors link up with a QR code plaque and it will load the prerecorded path that the operator recorded. Or you could select the path via stored programming within the GZ app. This would, in my opinion, solve the issue with the trees. I have just under 40 acres with about 80 trees and all grass. 2 trees/acre is pretty barren at that scale. Would love to see how we can implement something similar even if I had to place a QR code on a few trees for it to load it’s prerecorded path. Just get me to a point where I can do a full pass and load it up twice a week and I’ll buy this thing in a heartbeat
We hear you. We're working on pre-recorded paths and ride and repeat functionality. This plus obstacle carve outs, and editing maps in your browser (at your desktop) means we are definitely focused on your productivity and efficiency: always. We got a lot more in store, and it will only get better.
Ed when you do a price break down can you break it up more. Like what does the mower cost compared to a regular 72 zk... and than everything else would be the auto parts along with support. even if it's like 20k mower and than 30k for auto and 2 years... how many employees only cost 15k a year
Ed, let's do it. You are almost 100% spot on with the numbers. $50k robotic mower, versus a $15k stock mower = $35k extra in costs, so $17.5k per year for 2 years. Math gets better on 3 years, and even more if you can keep up the maintenance, especially since it isn't running into things. We should totally record this video.
A little birdie told me there's been some pricing changes, FYI! Your wife will love you coming home earlier and taking home more $ when the robot does the boring parts. Let's get you that demo!
Hey guys I would love to set up a chat about these mowers we mow 40 acres twice a week in the spring and once a week the rest of the year We would love to incorporate on if these units please reach out !
We tried to buy a new mower but either they don't take my trade or the fees 🥺 dealer prep 125 finance paperwork fee 125 acquisition fee 700 dollars and sales tax 6 or 7 hundred dollars or finance with interest 13.5 percent holy crap Ed that's about a 1800 dollar Add on l just had my first heart attack 😮
@@Limitedfreedomofspeech It might, if it's a self-driving car that partakes in one of the future autonomous taxi services. Now be a good car, don't flirt with any of the other cars, don't do drugs or smoke, don't stay out too late, and don't gamble away your pay....
All mower manufacturers are doing this currently. I guess you’re not gonna be able to buy ANY mower from anyone in the future since they’re all now your enemy.
