Good news on the VRide Doc. Happy that it wasn't something catastrophic. Wright here in the upstate of South Carolina is very sparce. I see a lot of Scag and BadBoy.
Glad it's a pretty straight forward fix Doc. Git those nice tools to work. The Wright looks pretty good & seemed to cut nice. Tim Herr is a legend. I reckon it's roast beef sandwiches all round tonight. 👊💪💯😎
Roast Beef on the house! Lol. You know them tools will be all over the garage floor. It did cut very well. I think it's a decent mower. I like the Scag for the yards we have here.
Great video Doc, glad you'll be back in business and on the Scag once again. I gotta tell ya, your Scag sure lays nice stripes, it sets the standard by which all others are measured. Due to your honesty and experience I've narrowed my choice down to the V-Ride and the Revolt. After watching your demo on the Revolt and listening to your comments, I'm leaning toward the Bad Boy. I'm just a homeowner cutting under 2 acres and I believe the Revolt just might be the way to go, especially being able to save about $2,000.00. Both choices are overkill, but I want a mower that will outlast me here in Michigan. The stripes the Revolt put down compared your Scag are pretty close. God bless you and your wife!!!!
John, thank you so much. I would steer you towards the BadBoy as well due to price and the fact your a homeowner doing just your own yard. You will be so happy with it. Scag to me is a money making machine and thus they cost a bit more. I am almost sure I will be buying a BadBoy as my backup. God bless sir and thanks for the support
Thanks for the reply Doc, I agree on all accounts. If I were in business, I'd most likely go with a Scag, however the cost savings for my use is substantial. I really enjoy watching your videos and have gained more knowledge and insight due to you time and effort. Thank you for all you do and above as ll your honesty. God bless you and yours!
@@johnd.613 Thank you so much John, that means a lot to me and is why I take the time to do the videos. I understand the cost savings as well and they are very substantial. Thanks again brother
Good to hear it was a easy fix brother I ripped the wires out of the safety switch on the handle on the pro stance today thank god it was the last yard gonna be a push mower kinda day tomorrow 👊
@@TomDobyMowerRepair thanks Tom had to order a new connector for the safety switch don’t have much of selection were I’m at great dealer but very small on inventory
Too bad you weren’t lent a 52” ZK, might have been a different story here. That is Wright’s premiere stander, available in 61” and 72” as well and autonomous. You will love the extreme clutch, put one on mine years ago and never looked back. Great video, thanks.
I did get a chance to try the 61 ZK, Not a bad mower but I just ordered a Bad Boy Revolt. I love the clutch, you're right about them. Thanks so much for the support brother!
Wright mowers I heard strip really really well! Glad your mower will be fixed soon and you don’t have to get a new one with the prices the way they are and it’s a easy fix!
Wrights are awesome and hats off to Ed Wright to being a great owner and being so involved in and with his mower but the Velocity+ deck is hands down the best deck out there. Now is Scag the best mower made , 100% NO , but is there a "best mower " ... No there isn't!!!
I couldn't agree more. Ed wright is a great guy and has done a fine job on that mower. There will never be that perfect mower. You hit the nail on the head. 💪💯🇺🇸
Hey, Doc! Well, good news about the mower, huh? Good friend in Tim Herr. Good video, Good content and good mower review. Keep it REAL! TRUTH! Hi, Sarah!
If I had to recommend you a mower I would say go with a toro grandstand I know Shawn with Spencer lawn care recommends it due to how good of a mower it is but at least they found the problem out with your scag breakdowns are gonna happen no matter what keep your head up doc
Toro owns exmark so same mower. Not really a fan but I am sure they are good. I have heard quit a bit about them. Thanks so much for the support brother
mowers are expensive i got a new mower last year $13,500 only reason i got it because we really need it. i never drove a scag mower. but me looking at your videos looks like great mower.
That sounds like the right price Doc Be sure to buy a OEM clutch and not a Tokyo Joe John Deere clutch is 500 dollars 250 for a clutch sounds way too cheap ?? Be careful my friend
