I actually like how in Neuvilette’s story quest, it was Wriothesley that taught Neuvilette that society can change in 500 years and that his actions had a positive impact if he had considered other people’s perspectives. Even after find the culprit to be a petty prisoner, Neuvilette was still worried and worked up on finding a potential threat. It was Wriothesley that made him change his mind. This and base on Wrio’s voice line here, I assume that Neuvilette stumbled on a moral dilemma, he was sad thus raining and he summoned Wriothesley to get advice. This shit is too cute bruh.

I think that whole "What's your secret?" scene was implying that Wrio knows what Neuvi is but keeps it to himself. He was taunting Neuvi with his knowledge, which is why Neuvi looked like he wanted to beat the living ish out of Wrio for even bringing it up. But...since Wrio is a "trustworthy man" he didn't say anything. He just walked away with a smug face and a sh*t-earing grin, having gotten under Neuvi's skin.

It's not like Neuvillette waited for him to age up/pursue him as a teen, people will do anything to make a ship weird if they don't like it. If I'm wrong about their 'relationship' at the time, then obviously let me know. But Neuvillette knowing of Wriothesley's existence when he was a teen doesn't really mean anything.
