The Mobius X-8 Wrist Brace is a modern design that uses a boa tightening system. it was developed for the motocross industry especially for professional dirtbike riders. It is a fantastic design and can be used by many different types of athletes and everyday people who need a brace that alleviates pain while being active or just need wrist support. I think it's a great choice for Adventure riders who have wrist issues.

Thank you for this review. I have painful arthritis in my left wrist and have been wearing a brace from my physical therapist for a couple of years which is wearing out. I saw this brace on a motocross website, but was pleased to see another adventure rider using one. Ride on!

It really is a great brace. I just need to figure out an alternative for the Velcro strap on the back. It does make it a pain to take off in a pinch. Cheers!

Wow, thanks for this review. Tripped over this after looking at your Tech 7 review. Sorry to hear about your wrist issues. I injured my left wrist a few weeks ago putting my GSA on the center stand. Not sure why I pulled back on the handlebar while doing so, but I did, and pop, holy shit the pain! Anyway, it’s very slowly getting better, but I keep re-dinging it when I’m out and about on the bike (practicing slow speed maneuvers, screwing up, even just riding for too long annoys it). Anyway, I may be where you are, re arthritis, because my right wrist hurts in a very similar way at some angles and and conditions, and it has not been abused anytime recently. I thought of wearing my drugstore brace(s) on the bike, but this device looks *much* more skeletal and ventilated, while meanwhile being seriously stiff.

Oh no, you shouldn't pull the glove through the velcro ring. You're doing it wrong. first, try to put the brace a little deeper on arm. Then put the glove on our hand. (The glove and the brace are already on your limb but they don't touch each other). Finally, slide the brace forward over the glove. While sliding put a ribbon over your finger and it's ready :D! I had a cheer accident prior to starting motocross. And broke my left wrist, it bothers me a lot to the point of stopping my bike and pulling off to the side of the track. Might look into these!

Thanks for share, im looking for this, I'm also an adventure bike rider, question you use it over your adventure bike jacket or inside, is too bulky?

In my opinion, It's too bulky with a standard jacket. It's essentially designed for Motocross use, those guys wear them with just a jersey. I have used it comfortably with the Mosko Moto Rak pullover. That pullover is like a thicker type of jersey in a way It's not quite a jacket. If you're not familiar with the jacket, look at it on Mosko Motos website and you can get an idea of what it looks like. But I found it way too uncomfortable with a regular winter jacket. I had the Alpinestars revenant jacket and it was too tight. Hope that helps.
