Write Now - Ep.100: What the GPC Team is Writing With!

I think this is my favorite Write Now video ever...so fun to see everyone's pens. And dangit...the one day when I'm using a fairly bland (but constant favorite) pen/ink. Today I'm using a Gray Pilot Metro with a sepia cartridge. But lying on my desk over there I also have 2 Lamy al-star (royal and purple), a rose gold online slope, my turquoise conklin duragraph, another pilot metro (bronze lizard) and a pilot vanishing point(the metallic blue one)...which have all been in use within the last couple of days.

This is, by far, my favorite episode of WriteNow ever, and I've probably watched or listened to most of them. Brian, you.always say the hobby is about the people, and also how important your team is. It's great to get to see almost all of them in live action, hear their voices, and see them in their work environment. At the moment I'm writing w my Kaweco AL Sport in Rose Gold, F nib, inked with Diamine Pink Champagne.

I want a new edition of this annually!

I really wanted to see a remake of this episode, see what pens people are using now, what pens they've recently treatened themselves, see how is the gpc working during the pademics and all that stuff. It'd be really cool.

Write Now is one of my favorite series and this is my favorite episode by far! It's very interesting to see what pens, nib size, and ink everyone is currently using/loving at the moment. Love how everyone is trying out the new Lamy Crystal inks. I want to try them too lol

Great video! Nice to put names to faces and seen what folks are using. Today I'm using my Conklin All American Tortise shell with Monte Verde Amethyst ink.

I love this format! I think I've seen them all! Great work, and I loved this tour of everybody's pen in use. For me it has been my Lamy 2000 with Lamy Black. Also a vintage Sheaffer Cartridge Pen, also with Lamy Black, that to my surprise started right up after not being used for some weeks.

Love this idea! Nice to see everyone and their choices. I am currently writing with a Conklin All American, with a Goulet EF nib, and Iroshizuku tsuyu-kusa ink.

I'm currently taking notes for school using my Pilot Décimo (F) with Pilot Iroshizuku Take-sumi and my TWSBI Eco (EF) with Iroshizuku Kon-Peki! I loved seeing faces to match the thank you cards and getting a glimpse of what everyone there uses! I'm new to the fountain pen world but I am binging all the Q&As and Write Nows. Thanks for all the great information you all put out and for the hard work and dedication that goes on behind the scenes. :)

Gotta love this video, absolutely brilliant! And really great to hear someone else enjoy the M nib on the Pelikan M200 as much as I do. I come back to it all the time, with Diamine Pumpkin Orange. Interesting how many TWSBI users are amongst your staff!

Congratulations on 100 episodes of Write Now! The pens I am currently using today are my Danitro Genkai in beige urushi with a soft medium 18k nib and Noodler's FPN Galileo Manuscript Brown ink, and my new from Goulet Opus 88 Fantasia in Terracotta with a medium steel nib and inked with Noodler's #41 Brown ink. Both are excellent pens, though the Fantasia medium is finer than the Danitrio nib. By the way, Drew, I'm highly jealous of your Montana pen. (I'm originally from Montana, but moved to Colorado to get away from the snow...).

I've got several pens inked, but the one I'm actually using right now is the Platinum 3776, SF nib, with Noodler's Black.

Loved this! And now I have some more ink samples to add to my Goulet cart. 😁 I have four pens inked right now, but my daily go-to is my TWSBI Eco (B) with Noodler’s Liberty’s Elysium. 💙🖋

Congratulations on number 100! It looks like they're a lot of fun in front of the camera. They've been fun from this side of the camera, too. Great Work and so helpful. The only pen I have, so far but I carry it all the time, is a Conklin Herringbone Navy Blue, Extra Fine with Monteverde Capri Blue.

Only after watching this did I realize that at the Goulet office, everyday is a literal pen meet. How awesome is that, to constantly be surrounded with people with the same passion as you!

This was really fun! I have 42 pens inked up right now--all fine or extra fine--which I rotate constantly while I journal and write letters. The last one I used today was my black TWSBI ECO EF with Pilot Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku. I keep all the pens in six nesting clear plastic 6 X 6 in trays. Easy to take with me and they don't take up much room at all. I have a notebook to keep track of--by tray, of course--which ink is in which pen. Almost all of them are filled with your various ink samples, although I do own quite a few bottle of ink. I love the fun of ink samples! I am more into inks than the more expensive pens, I guess. :) Congrats on #100!!

I have the Lamy Safari Spring Edition Rose pen inked with Noodlers Black Swan English Rose and a Lamy Al-Star Graphite with the blue cartridge. I received my Goulet Pens order yesterday, but haven’t inked anything up yet. Going to play with my new pens and nibs today!

Lately I'm rocking my new Lamy studio imperial blue with Lamy blue ink cartridge and EF nib. So much blue and broad in your office. Nice to see.

Great video! It was great to see so many team members are using broad nibs! I have many pens inked, but the one I am using today is my Visconti Manhattan Wall St. Platinum with a medium nib and Caran D'Ache Idyllic Blue ink.. I love "Write Now" and and hope you will continue them. I honestly look forward to them every Monday and Wednesday. Great job all!

I have quite a few pens inked up, but my everyday writer is my Platinum Cool clear with the soft Fine nib, using Noodler's Lexington Gray for its shading, its permanence, and how it makes other inks stand out on the page. Thanks for this great series--I enjoy every episode!

That was fun! I'm using my Turquoise Conklin Duragraph, with Pelikan turquoise ink.

This episode was a lot of fun. I enjoyed seeing so many of your team and seeing the variety of the pens and inks they were using. I have over 30 pens, most of them from Goulet Pens, so what I'm using today won't be what I'm using tomorrow. Today is a Pelikan 200 Brown with Pelikan Sandy Quartz with a fine nib. When I started my pen collection, I stuck with fine nibs because my handwriting is small. But as my collection has progressed/increased, I've trended toward medium and stub nibs, with the stubs being my favorites. It was interesting to see how many of your team chose broad and stub nibs. That's the pen fever I'm catching.

I am a new subcriber and fountain pen user. I loved this video. I paused it so I could find my cards from my 2 orders. It was great to see who signed them! I am amazed that 5 months ago I got my first fountain pen. Now I am already able to read though the comments and not need to look up the pen and ink they are referring too! I have 6+ pens inked. Some of my favorites are my orange retro Pilot Metropolitan with a swapped plumix nib and Noodler's Apache Sunset. My Lamy Vibrant Pink I got from you for my birthday. I filled it with Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses. I put the Vibrant Pink ink in a hot pink jinhao shark. Along with my TWSBI Go sapphire stub nib with Monteverde Capri Blue and another simple dark blue jinhao shark with some Diamine Skulls And Roses that I just got today. I can't wait to receive another order from you. Maybe an Easter gift and definitely for Mother's Day!

I loved this video so much. It made me go on a binge of searching for inks and I put a bunch of Shading inks into my Wish List on Goulet Pens. I am currently writing with my solid writing no frills Lamy Al-Star in Graphite with a Fine nib and I'm using Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Brown. Love it. I'm typically a blue, black, and green, but this is making want to try browns, bronze-type colors, topaz, and Noodler's Habanero and Apache Sunset.

This is awesome! I love the idea and it was fun to see all the pens and inks (and now I need to go add pink glitz to my cart...). I have about seven TWISBI Ecos inked up (four mediums, one fine, and two stubs--de Atramentis Document Fuchsia, de Atramentis Document Turquoise, Monteverde Garnet, Monteverde Yosemite (?), Pilot Irushizuku Kon Peki, Organics Stuido Nitrogen, KMZ Hawaii Blue), as well as a Jinhao Shark (Noodlers Operation Overlord Orange) and a Pilot Metropolitan with a stub (a mix of de Atramentis Fuchsia and Yellow, making an orange very similar to the Noodlers OOO). And a Pilot Plumix with Monteverde Turquoise. My office pen for when I forget my pen case at home is a Monteverda Monza with Monteverde Sapphire (ink also in my drawer at work). And a few others that need to be cleaned out.

I like the Lamy Amazonite ink and will look for a bottle soon. I have four pens inked today but I'm leaning heavily on the Conid Monarch Minimalistica - Fine, and inked with De Atramentis Atlantic Blue. Really enjoyed today's Write Now video!
