this is exactly how i’m feeling bc i graduated this month but i am the queen of procrastination as well, so i completely understand her pain and it’s almost healing to see that other successful people do the same thing
I think jobs are similarly structured depending on where you work. Meetings, being prepared for them, taking notes at the meeting, selling things, make the company money, die
@@maddsvlogs You guys might feel good now, but speaking as a serial procrastinator who is 10 years ahead of you, you'll continue to have nightmares for the rest of your life where you wake up panicked that your paper is due.
@@AW-xc1xcyeah but you have juries and recitals and lessons and ensembles and music theory, I’m friends with a lot of music majors and they’re some of the hardest working people I know, I seriously have so much respect for y’all. Good on you for being a music major you guys rock.
Watching this makes me think back on when I procrastinated and did stuff at the last minute and the feeling of like hopelessness when you were afraid you weren’t gunna finish it. But when you pull through and do it you feel on top of the fucking world. Strange situation and strange feeling lol
that's so scary haha you have exact the same two names as I do (I use a different user name here though but this name is so rare!): and I am also a huge procrastinator, study history and have watched her vids before. so for a moment i thought it was myself who commented like 3 years ago or so when i was writing my last ancient history paper. well it wasn't :D hope you made it and you're generally well, great name you have there :D
@@lillimarl2022 haha that's a crazy coincidence! writing the paper was torture, but i made it yay! i really like your name too :p what country are you from?
I’m doing a late-night assignment right now the day before it’s due. I felt anxious initially but your determination and casual attitude towards your 105 paragraphs really motivates me. Thank you!! Now I’m sure I’ll push through.
See, this is why I work on assignments in half hour chunks even if it’s just researching, from the day I get it assigned up until the day it’s due. #organisationsaveslives
i just discovered your channel and you motivated me to (start) finish my final projects. and i thought my final projects were really bad but then i see you videos which are pretty crazy. love watching your content !
Hey girl. Please post blogs more often. I watched your videos and saw you've only posted a couple on your channel and I was sooo sad because I wanna see more from you 😭. Please make lots of content this 2023!!! Also do a QnA video!!! Btw I love love loveee your vibe and your videos are motivating me to work harder and making me feel like I'm not alone in these situations 💓
Studying realism for my history Masters research degree and oh boy I feel you- I hope you did as well as can be, and I think you did amazing considering the intensity of research involved.
You know, it’s videos like these that make me happy I chose engineering… I get the long assignments but it’s never this kind of brain wording that just completely knocks me out 😅
Ooo my dog is also named Mando! Haha I haven't seen anyone else use that name yet. And I just finished my Master's in December as well! Best of luck in your post-graduation journey ☺️
Former History grad student here - annotated bibliographies!!! Oh man…. Those were not bad to procrastinate once you read the intros or abstracts of your sources lol
This i relate to so much right now. I dont have research papers due but i havent taken notes from the unit last semester and now doing them before next semester starts lol.
You should try planning your homework out, also tell yourself to just write a single word or something. If you just get yourself to start, it gets a hell of a lot easier
how do you not have an adblocker in 2022? (also I saw that h3 pod vid in your recommendations and I just want to say they are usually the sole reason for me procrastinating since I always have to watch their pods when they come out haha)
Congrats! You got this! I actually have a video of finishing my masters thesis :) I started it in April and did all of the data, but did most of the work the weekend before! I admire your hard work, good job! I bet it’s great :)
This was on my recommendation....and I'm in college (only for associates) then I was like....DAMN😲😳 That many words to write!!! What are you studying for? Major? Kudos for getting something like that complete in such short time😳😱!!✋🙏
It's 12:30 am and I have my science exam at 7:30 am I need to be at school by 6:50am so I'll leave the house at 6:20am and of course, I procrastinated to study for my science final exam until the day before, and now I have a whole lesson I don't understand, need to memorize stuff, and practice revision worksheets/notes. I'm probably going to stay up, go to school, do my exam then come home. It's not that bad since it's finals so you only go to school for 2 hours do your exam then head home. Anyway, I'll tell you how it goes! Edit: I in fact did not stay up for the whole day I stayed up studying until 2 am then went to bed although it was like 12:45 my dad found me awake and started screaming at me to go to sleep (dude dad screams are the worst) so I just went into my room read my notes and then put an alarm to wake up at 4 am I woke up and told myself whatever you can revise in the car in the morning so I slept woke up at six left revised a bit in the car made it to school at six forty-five revised then it was seven twenty-five and we needed to go to the exam room and from there on my only help was god. Anyways long story short the exam was pretty easy, but I know I got some questions wrong also probably what I did was really bad but I had this long lesson and I only studied a part of it but like i read through the other parts anyways the part that I studied only came thank god, but yeah thats basically it. I have 3 more exams then finally a break.
In school my thing was trying to get all work done in school and have no homework but some teachers were sticklers in saying you couldn't do work in class some of us would sneak and finish it when she wasn't looking lol
The bio simply being 'Oooops' brings back so many memories from when I was at university haha! If it makes you feel any better, a girl who lived at my accommodation at university was resitting her second year because she did that badly. One night at about half eight she confessed to me that she had a 10,000 word dissertation due, the next day that she hadn't started! The next day! She wasn't phased in the slighted! How?
I need 6000 words by midnight. I was just quite sick so I couldn't do it yesterday even though I had 3 days. Luckily if I bullshit my way through, I can spend more time fixing than actually writing which I find to be easier.
Hey all! I just wanted to make sure that you know that the vast majority of University and college degrees have no interest in knowing what your grades were, especially when pursuing non-STEM education, but even in STEM, most companies just dont care. Its all about experience. So yeah, 90%+ of you could get Cs and be fine.
@@izzybee3322 truthfully, I used them for 2 years and they were great. Over time tho they started cutting out because the wires were constantly kinked despite constantly undoing them. I now just use a mic from Amazon that was $30 and my external computer speakers. If I’m playing something that needs headphones, I’ll use my Bose headphones
it’s kinda sad to see this bc she has the freedom to be able to wait to the last minute. i have adhd and i know i could never do this my brain would just keep getting off topic.
@@nomistarfall560 that’s 3 words a second , so basically you just lied , it’s impossible . so now you can’t be trusted by your word , you tried to outsmart me , you failed , you have no idea , why do you think I’m master troll. Peasant
She definitely didn’t. 2021 was a really rough year for her, but I’m happy to report that things are a lot better in 2022 and hopefully even more in 2023 :)
just got my bachelor's in management info systems. dec '22. data resource/application cism 3340 really tested my mental stability with crafting SQL statements and looking dumb when asking my prof for help. i'm so glad i don't have to worry about stuff like this.
do you have any social media accounts i could follow/watch? you’re awesome and i’d love to support!! (also your gaming headset/chair makes me think you may have a twitch??? what games do you like to play?)
I don’t have any social media that’s public! But thank you for wanting to support me :)! I used to stream on twitch, but the last 2 years I’ve been using video games as a means to hang out with my friends and family! My favorite game of all time is Sims 3, but I play a lot of Sims 4 and other simulation games like Stardew, Cities:Skylines, etc :)
That is such a simple assignment why can't I have stuff like this, I'm totally in a subject where it makes sense🥲 (Obviously not with a small amount of time to do it lol, well done)
