Yeah I do that for prepro. Which DAW are you using? I would likely still just down pitch the guitar track and if you can and see if it helps. I’m currently doing that but sometimes it’s better to record only the top string notes on the guitar instead of chugs and chords. That’s where it always falls apart but I’ll still use it for demos to fill out the low end haha
@@BrendonKPadjasek I use Ableton 11 and Neural DSP plugins for my tones. Something just doesnt sount right when I try and make a bass tone but programming can be difficult for the really low tunings
@leopardboy18 yeah I don’t find neural to be very bass friendly. Unless you have the dark glass or parallax plugin ? And often times when tracking bass on super low tuning you have to play the bass in the same octave as guitar. And just fill in the low end with frequencies rather than being an octave lower. Below F you basically need to be in the same octave on bass as guitar
Those turned out great. I'd say feel free to have the camera on even more of an angle for those fretting hand angles to get more depth of field out of it. You could also try moving your front light over a bit more to also create more drama in the lighting. But those are stylistic choices. You did a great job
you are great Brendon! Structures were my most listened band this year in my Spoitify Wrapped 2023. Alien is the song I listened to the most, followed by Civilian, Psycho Hours, Planet of Garbage and The Worst of both worlds. I know this isn't the right channel, but I just wanted to tell you with this comment that Structures is the best band I've ever listened to and they saved my life in some bad times I went through this year.
