Hello, thanks so much for listening to the presentation. I have managed to answer a few queries live. If you have further queries, please feel free to post them here, and I will respond in time. Since some of you asked, I have shared details of the PhD repository links in the description box. Hope the presentation helped. Thank you.
Prof you have very lucidly laid down the things to be done in a research proposal. What are the steps one should take before writing down the proposal? What should be the time-frame or the optimal time one should take to come up with the proposal? Thanks and regards.
This educational workshop is good for beginners. It could be elaborated more. Also, the accent was hard for me to understand. I think it is good for Indians, mostly. Thanks for the work, anyway.
Sir... I have just finished my M. A and am thinking to take up a research project on the change of Bengali culture and life -style from say colonial period till date.. And how our bengali culture is still very much effected and affected by neo-colonialism, globalization and western consumerism which are actually suppressing the original ethnic cultures...Now... Does it hold any water... Does it sound a viable and interesting project to you.. Should I go forward with it... And if yes.. How can I narrow down this area of interest.. what are the texts and who are the authors I can refer to primarily...and if I apply outside bengal with this research proposal.. Will it be a disadvantage for me???
It can be a an advantage also, I know a Dada doing his PhD from JNU in Bengali avant-garde writers. But you need to be more specific, thousands of researches have been done on the topic you are interested in. But there are always various possibilities, it is upto you to discover those possibilities.
You are so clear , to the point . I am a PhD aspirants from Nepal. Hello Sir. I am interested in pursuing a PhD in English Language Teaching (ELT/TESOL/Applied Linguistics). Could you suggest some good universities, and also talk about the process for the same?
Sir, I have a query. My research topic is about Indian writing or more Indian oriented topic but still unexplored one. I have heard that uk universities filter out such topics and they expect more English literature related topics. Is this true?
